It would be so cool to have more North American animals and others, plus some new plant life and fungi for detail work in forest environments!! More cabin/camping props are also sorely needed in my campground zoo.
Habitat Animals that would be cool to have:
Opossum
Canada Lynx
American Badger
Coyote
Bobcat
Black Bear
North American River Otter
Fisher
California Quail
Ring-necked Pheasant
Whooping Crane
Wild Turkey (Google their Mexican cousins; they're stunning!)
Whitetail Deer
Elk
Exhibit Animals that would be neat:
Tiger Salamander
Red Salamander
Alligator Snapping Turtle
Red-Eared Slider
Eastern Glass Lizard (legless!)
Red-bellied Watersnake (nonvenomous!)
Green Anole
Giant Walkingstick
Giant Waterbug
Eastern Hercules Beetle
Giant Stag Beetle
Giant Darner Dragonfly
Common Whitetail Dragonfly
Pushing it here:
Great Blue Heron (habitat)
Bald Eagle (walkthrough exhibit)
Great Horned Owl (walkthrough exhibit)
American Flamingo (habitat)
Exhibit mammals would really be welcome, plenty of little guys out there
Star-nosed mole
Eastern mole
Plants/environment stuff:
MORE STUMPS AND FALLEN LOGS, please for the love of God
A few varieties of shelf fungi!
Catherine's moss
Toadstools!
Building pieces:
Horizontal log wall parts, a little thicker than the vertical log wall parts to resemble log cabins
Rustic artisan wood carvings of animals, like the bear, canada lynx, and pheasant
Just generally a ton of rustic artisan woodwork please
Native American art and imagery, commissioned from American indigenous artists!
Custom signs - trail marking arrow planks, one pointing left and one pointing right (since text can only be put on one side and arrows can't be typed in both directions)
Decorative cabin-esque trail signs
More stylized foliage signs
More signs that don't require power
Education panels & Animal talks that don't require power
Burning coals and glowing log pieces - I managed to build a giant bonfire by hiding African coal beds, heaters, and South American torches within some branches and stones, but it would be very cool for it to be much easier to make better and smaller ones! Or just give us some campfires and bonfires!
Guests seek out warmer places nearby when they have all needs met, but are cold! Same for animals!
This is super extensive but I thought I'd throw all my ideas out there! I'm really passionate about my escapism into my own little digital woods.
