Workshop

To devs : Please , can you consider those :
1-could we have a progress bar when we download a blueprint (park, item, aso...) , cause we don't know when it's finished !
2-Can you indicate the number of pages of items in the workshop, because we don't know where the end is?
Thanks .

Im gonna shamefully link my own thread with Frontier workshop requests which also asked for page numbers: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/lets-talk-about-the-frontier-workshop.629574/

Still I honestly think that Steam Workshop is gonna be the only solution if they really want this game to be successful. Just add both workshops and let PC players choose if they want to upload to Steam Workshop, Frontier Workshop (so consoles can also play) or both workshops (which most people would do)

As it currently is, I simply will not use the Frontier Workshop. Life has more than enough frustrations without adding yet another. Steam was easy to use.

The workshop is quite limited compared to the Steam one but I think maybe this is all about the amount of data. It's absolutely huge. I am not sure Frontier would have built a data center in their basement, it's sure to be cloud renting. Even just tiny things like being able to allow extra space for the text description probably causes huge alterations in cost and efficiency, or being able to add one extra photo for example.

But this did lead to me to ponder what is going to happen with the custom audio and video? Are we to upload those custom files too or will we at least be able to post a link to them? I don't really want every single ride description taken up by Please download the audio and video from vvv,myfilesareshere.abc/audioandvideo and then that's not even clickable.

Will be interesting to see how that all works.

I still hope that they will see the light soon and also add Steam Workshop for the PC fanbase and give PC players the option to upload to both Frontier workshop and Steam workshop.

It's a win-win. Still have cross platform and let console players enjoy the blueprints and actually also have the PC fanbase which you need for the longevity of the game.
