I think most players have used the odd exploit, such as re-logging at Davs Hope, or board hopping when that was a thing.
I know there was an exploit Fdev viewed as cheating the game, where a player could use grade 1 materials to do many, many grade 5 rolls (prior to the Engineers changes) I don't believe this was possible on xbox (my platform)?
There is also the hacking issue that Fdev have made a post for.
That being said, if someone has earned something special without having used the latter two methods, it's pretty much fair game I guess?
I wouldn't accuse anyone of cheating without evidence, so when he (Mini) posts a vid, I'll take it as an honest achievement.
My efforts prior to, and since the engineer changes have been inspired by Mini and many other content creators, and the main reason I persisted with updating on my progress is that it has generated some great interactions with other players (but sadly some less than pleasant moments too). I would hope that our personal achievements are challenged fairly, but some just want the cudos, regardless of fair play.
The differences in jump ranges are practically insignificant for the most part, and it is a niche subject for players with legacy modules now, so whoever comes out on top through fair play, congratulations and well wishes.
I'll probably leave this subject alone now, as I get the feeling the negative interactions may start outweighing the possitives, especially when raising doubt over another persons honesty/integrity. I am in no way doing that here.
I am not a content creator myself, and respect all those that are (apart from the ones I don't

). Mini is great for what he does. I love the Elite: Dangerous community, content creators, game devs and all those who have made this game so fantastic
