Worm hole

I found a worm hole near the bubble which jumps you to near Sag A. (Not really) but it would be an improvement to the game. So would a better way to find co ordinates on planets and more variety of stuff to find on planets.


Fdev, should be working on stuff like this, instead the cosplay commanders have them diverted on things like....Holo me moustaches, multi crew and squadron, space legs, more bobble head crud and don't forget the latest probe crisis...


If history is anything to go by, then this next update will be as lame as the others, I'm not holding my breath.

I mean night vision....great, now I can find nothing in the dark as well as nothing in the day light.

Fdev roadmap year by year is obvious.
Another ship.
Another engineer.
A larger hardpoint (size 6).
Another material.
Another goods.
Another boring faction storyline.
Just anyway to create grind and grind.

Cosplay cmdrs have a lot to answer for.

I hope this will produce some constructive discussions amongst us.

This game could have been the greatest.

C'mon fdev, make a great game then charge what you like for it and people will buy it.

Except when you investigate another worm hole and it drops you 20,000ly away, and you don't have a scoop. Not such an improvement then. :p

Also, cosplay cmdr .. lol.
Also also, freedom of speech isn't quite as free as you think it is. You are still bound by the rules.
As for the rest of it.. not worth addressing, TBH.

Everyone should rant and blow off some steam once in a while. I feel better now, I think I'll go have a cup of tea.

Did the government come drag you away for what you said? No? Freedom of speech is working just fine.

Go up to your CEO and yell all sorts of obscenities at them. Make sure to hurl insults at their family, too. Then, when you get fired, try using free speech as a defense. Record the whole thing on video and post it, as well. Free entertainment is lacking in quality these days.

So we who game for a limited time can go there, without spending 3 years traveling. Especially when you've nothing else to find on the way.once you've visited 10 or so planets, you've seen it all.

The cosplay cmdrs can just "imagine" it's not there and not use it.

What if wormholes dropped you at a random destination every time you traversed one ? No destination would be off limits - you might end up safely in the next system or on the other side of the galaxy, inside a black hole, inside the exclusion zone of a neutron star with no chance of escape. Ship destruction should be a live chance every time though.

That'd be pretty good.

All those 'mergent content deliverers who have spent all their play time ultra-meta speccing their FdLs could now go and fulfill their true explorer's heart by jump straight out to Sag A to say Hi to any passing Asps or Condas.

How positively uplifting! :)

How can anyone have a constructtive discusion about anything here once the OP has slapped the label of "passive agresive cos play cmdrs" on anyone who might see fault in thier suggestion.

Does that make me such as I dont think wormholes would benefit the game at all, do they even appear in Elite lore?

Oh and the bit about fredom of speach was pricless its as free as FD want it to be, thier house thier rules. Wikipedia explain just how free your speach is a lot better than me typing on my phone on the bus home.
