Would you buy an Asian dlc that excluded tropical species?

Asia is BIG lol...and there are still a lot of species from the rest of Asia missing from Planet Zoo. Now that we have the "Southeast Asia dlc" tropical Asia is really well represented.

Obviously other continents need dlc before this BUT I'm curious if you would buy an Asian dlc in the future (that excluded tropical species)? Here's some ideas that are popular on the metalists:

Habitat Animals:
  • Przewalski's Horse (used to be Extinct in the Wild)
  • Saiga Antelope (Critically Endangered)
  • Amur Leopard (Critically Endangered)
  • Wild Yak
  • Markhor or Himalayan Tahr or Takin
  • Dromedary Camel (only feral populations exist in the wild)
  • Père David's Deer (Extinct in the Wild)
  • Raccoon Dog (also called the "Tanuki")
  • Japanese Red Crowned Crane (using flamingo model)

Exhibit Animals:
  • Giant Japanese Salamander or Giant Chinese Salamandar (largest amphibians on Earth, up to 1.8 m (5.9 ft) long)
  • Himalayan Jumping Spider (highest known permanent resident on Earth, they live on Mount Everest at elevations of 22,000 ft)
Aviary Animals (if we ever get flying birds):
  • Stellar's Sea Eagle (heaviest eagle on Earth on average)
  • Lammergeier (also called "Bearded Vulture")

I mean, the more the better, and these are all important missing species at the moment so it would be a very welcome pack to me.

I would absolutely love this. I really want the Tanuki, the Przewalski's Horse, the Père David's Deer, the Amur Leopard and the Crane could also be really great for my Zoo. Just not sure about the Saiga. I think they aren't kept in Zoos anymore but in 1 or 2 Breeding Centers (but maybe they could additionally add a Career Mode Scenario to it which adds some Planet Zoo Lore about Zoos keeping them again to protect them better).
I really hope that we would still get Gibbons in another Pack but I think, I won't need to worry about it because there are many Possibilities to still get them in some other kind of DLC

I sure would. It's definitely not a priority though. The Amur leopard is the only one on that list that really piques my interest. But if they put it out next I'd still buy it, even though I'd like to move on to other areas of the world for a bit.

Can't see why anyone wouldn't... not too sold on the choices you listed, but then you also listed nine so I'll assume your post was meant to present a general idea.

Takin, Markhor, Musk Deer, Muntjac, Yak, Gaur, Pheasants (all), Tarsier, Saiga, Onager, The Horse with impossible name, Pere Deer, Indian Giant Squirrel, King Cobra, Matamata, Giant Salamander

Did I forget some? Probably.

Don’t care for Tanuki, Panther, Dromedary and Gibbons. Though I would not mind Dromedary that much.

Love the idea would buy it instantly but with the lack of NA and EU I don’t think we would get it. The Przewalski horse, gibbon and Asian leopard are the most requested Asian animals now and they could easily fit in the endangered animal pack.
But your idea is exquisite and I would buy any pack with whatever animals if there is Père David’s deer in it 🤩

Why the world didn’t granted the horse a normal non-Russian name as well? This name is impossible for me to remember.

Absolutely I'd go for it, I think it'd be a very neat option. I was thinking before that an Eurasian pack might be on the horizon rather than a strictly European one, simply because it gives the Frontier team more license to cherrypick which species from that very broad section of the world to include--particularly such requested ones, like Przewalski's horse. But we'll see!

Well, you know what they say: practice makes perfect. I'm sure you'll get there!
(Also--normal? Is that what we're calling English now?)

While I’m glad SEA animals got added, I still have some Asian animals that I would like to be included. Currently there’s no hints as to what to expect next (from that video leak we sow the sun bear therefore we had a reason to expect SEA), I somehow expect the next pack to not be an Asian exclusive one. Unless they add a miscellaneous or a theme that can include certain Asian animals.
still want
P horses
Cranes (any Asian)
Guar
Gibbons when the time is right
Markhor
Takin
raccoon dogs
Yaks
I do think northern Asia or Himalayas could use some love

A good compromise would be if they included a couple other species that are also from those areas. Like how the Gary Wolf is. Are there any others?

Oh absolutely, the tanuki is my most wanted animal and the Amur leopard and Japanese crane are up there as well. Then again, it'd be tough to come up with an animal pack that I wouldn't buy.

Man, I know difficult names like Itzpapalotl and Binaye-Ahani from the top of my head, gemstone names like Rhodochrosite and Dinosaurs like Pachycephalosaurus, all easy for me, the Russian Horse is the only name I always forget, I also really don’t like Russian, so maybe it’s that.

Since the Asian tropics are pretty well-covered now I'd buy a pack with more northern Asian animals in it.

Amur leopard, Bukharan markhor, Japanese raccoon dog, Przewalski's horse, golden takin, Pere David's deer, red-crowned crane, and the mountain horned lizard for the exhibit animal. That's a solid pack with some solid animals, I think.
