I use VoiceAttack with ASTRA, but I don't use EDDI. Toggle states of Galaxy Map, Landing Gear, Cargo Scoop, Lights, Night Vision, etc are always tracked without issue.

Most scripts cope well, its the unexpected that causes problems. Interdictions, for example, close everything back the the HUD and there's no tracking that. If you don't use something that uses the status and journal files, one way or another, the tracking will get out of step eventually. Of course, if you never have something open when you get interdicted, then the trackers won't get out of step.
