Ammodawg's pleasant post about Elite
Alright so I never had played any of the Elite series until now. I happen to see this one day and bought in on the beta. Honestly I think I only played twice and it was for less than an hour both times. I was however excited for the game because I am a big Sci-fi fan and getting tired of all the Orcs, Elves, and Goblins.
Since release I have cleared my save twice and this third time is starting to work rather nicely. I started off opposite of most by heading out to resource sites and popping NPC bandits. That has been fun and I have gotten lucky to not smash into any rocks, though I have come close.
Now I find myself trying to learn trading and find some good routes. This has actually been interesting to me in trying to find my own instead of using a website. Flying around taking notes I have seen some cool stuff. Love the graphics.
Anyways most forums for games are usually filled with complaints I wanted to say thanks for such a fun game. There are issues here and there that I sometimes wonder why it works that way but overall I am having fun. I'm enjoying there are no skills to train, just me developing my own skill at flying or trading.
Well back to counting down the hours til I get home and can play.
