Greetings commanders,
So I am having a ton of issues getting my newly purchased Logitech X52 Pro HOTAS to operate properly within Elite Dangerous. I am sure this is not a problem that is solely within ED, but I bought it to play this game, so I'd like to get it working. My issues are as follows:
1) The (i) button (clutch) was not working out of the box. I did some research and found a fix by disabling the Clutch Mode in the Windows Game Controllers. It now functions properly. Small win but it did cause some issues with the pinkie clutch then not working. I don't know if they're related.
2) The issue now is the functionality of the pinkie clutch button. The only way I can get ED to recognize the input is by leaving the Game Controller window open and, the result is spotty at best. I like the default X52 profile assignment for UI Look, but I've noticed it hardly works, and often the POV1 (middle) hatstick stops functioning as the freelook. This issue is game breaking for me.
3) I've noticed that the flight stick is often slowly causing my ship to nose up or nose down when my hand is fully off the stick. I have set about a 10% deadzone in game, but it is still happening. This is also close to game breaking for me, and would result in a return of the X52 if it continues.
I have done a few hours of research on these issues but I can't seem to come to any solid resolution. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
