Oops - my silly iphone didn't paste.

I can understand actors/filmmakers not being totally familiar with the product, or even flight sticks in a general sense, but nobody at any point during prop building or filming ever put their hands on the thing and thought "you know, this feels feels kinda backwards"?

Nah...just looked at it and said, that looks spacey, flighty, sciencey enough...ROLL FILM!

Seen that crop up quite a lot.
Also seen my Razer Nostromo feature prominently in Enders Game.

I had a Nostromo back when they were still made by Belkin, and didn't have any of the fancy lights. Bought it to play Morrowind. I still have a soft spot for it despite having long since moved on to a Logitech G13. Seeing the new Razer version pop up so prominently in Ender's Game brought a huge smile to my face.

Back in the day, movies used to have their own unique props (and entire sets) made by hand.

These days it's CGI and some stuff from Amazon :p

I dunno, I've watched a lot of stuff "back in the day" where it was pretty obvious the props were stuff from Sears.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
That's hilarious. :) Well... it's a good looking HOTAS. I love mine, anyway.
