Xbox controller on pc

Anyone use an xbox controller with pc, with the little attached keyboard? I'm thinking of using my xbox controller on my pc due to space constraints, but I need to of course be able to type in system names, and I'm wondering if the little controller mounted keyboard is supported.

I use the xbox controller but had never thought of the keyboard doo dah. I can't see why it wouldn't work. I wonder if you get versions with bigger keys. My one complaint about the controller is that there isn't enough controls for manoeuvring.

I use my elite controller for Xbox, PS4 and pc but i never thought to try the chat pad on pc before I sold it. I use a wireless keyboard on all formats mainly because it’s much easier having full size keys. I briefly used the chat pad on Xbox but found having no tab key for cycling between wing, local ect to be annoying.

Yes, it's supported.

Ysed to use it all the time. Yes, you can bind it.

Windows is great like that.
