xbox on-screen keyboard

Hi ppl,

I wonder if anyone has this problem since last update, when looking at the chat-window, then the xbox-on-screen keyboard automatically pops-up over the entire screen? Im getting crazy about this. Before i had to press the A-button to "activate" the chat-box for typing in it, but now it happens constantly when i just look at it. Have i stumbled on any strange settings maybe? or is anyone else having this issue?

If you going to your options there is a drop down menu that allows you to disable the pop-up chat window just disable it and used to like you use to that might help that's what worked for me

Sounds like you are using the quick comms function. Use the comms panel binding to open it and the xbox typer will remain inactive until you click in chat.

You can also use your smartphone, tablet or a USB keyboard to type text field messages via the Xbox app. It's much quicker and easier than using the Xbox chat window...
