All "First to discover" is going to be reset, handed in or not. As for the bonuses, I'm really not all that sure. On final release though all data will be merged with PC data, so first discovery's on Xbox won't matter.

i can live with that. i just set out for the core yesterday and am 4500 LY outside of civilized space, so it wont hurt me too badly if what you said is true. might even help me bc maybe i can get first discovered on a bunch of stuff near the core.

It's adding a whole new game mode with custom map's, mechanic's, and different ship's, and even though 2 of them look the same they aren't quite the same. Are you really thet surprised?
