Everytime i come out of hyperspace i get a message that disrupts gameplay, and when i reload my game whether in open play or solo modes within seconds i get the same message consistently and it throws me back to main menu. I dont know if this is relavent but this didnt start happening until i bought my ASP. Message says "connection error. There was an error connecting to xbox live. Please use the settings app to troubleshoot problems with your internet connection". Ive checked my upload and download speeds and called verizon fios everything on my end and their end is working as it should. Please help i love this game and need to play it.

Yes, Xbox Live itself seems to be having problems right now. Not the game. I'm having it too.
Well xbox live isnt perfect on every other game and service just check http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status, it may work for some things and have trouble with others. If not, then the issue is probably with your home network.

Yeah XBL has crapped out.
LIVE has been down in some capacity over the past few days. Whether it is an attack, maintenance, or data center issues is yet to be seen, but that would explain your issues over the past few days.
Yeah i've been getting disconnected over the past week but I've only had the game for a week. Just thought it was a beta problem for xbox. But yes, servers are properly down right now. I was just about to play too. 
Xbox live says social/gaming/and others back up, but sign in is still down.

Yep, it's down to Xbox Live having issues. Annoying that the status of the servers should affect our ability to play the game, especially for those like myself who are playing in solo more currently.
I have literally just jumped to the system to complete my first reasonably sized contract in terms of reward, and the servers crap out on me. Thanks, Xbox!

Yeah, the Xbox live mess certainly needs to be sorted out. The main drawback is that I have missions that are active when Xbox Live goes down, and since the game is in realtime, I return to the game to find failed missions, fines and reduced reputation points. Sigh........im still thrilled to be playing this game at all, however.
I was all set to have a nice long ED session this evening, only to find that XBL is screwed!
Still got issues now, after what must be at least three hours...
I think that XBL has been a lot less reliable this generation than in the last. I don't remember having this many issues in the days of the 360!

It seems to have fixed itself for me, currently. Hope everyone gets back on soon!
You CAN get on if you are persistent, but there definitely is something going on. I was on earlier with no problems, then I signed out and shut down for lunch. Logged back in and noticed that my Dashboard color scheme was not my custom colors. Then I realized that I wasn't signed in to XBL, which should be automatic. Signed in, and things looked normal, but when I launched ELITE, I was asked to confirm which account (GT) to use for the game. (Not normal), and my icon was grayed out.
Tried to launch ED, but it just sat there, and I ended up with a gray screen and a perpetual progress spinner. Backed out to the dashboard and QUIT the game. Tried a full power down/ restart of the console, but it came back up and didn't automatically sign in.
This went on for about 5 times in a row. All my network tests showed normal and GOOD TO GO. On my 5th attempt, I was able to log in to XBL and fully load ED, and I have been on the game in SOLO mode ever since. About 3 hours now.
So... If you manage to log in to XBL and get a good connection, and get into the game .... DON'T LOG OUT! If you plan on playing today and tonight, best to just stay logged in to ED and XBL once you are able to.
If you sign out of both, you may not be able to sign back in later.

Xbox One Crashes
I am having the same issue. This is ridiculous. I game keeps crashing after FSD, also during a dog fight, I have restarted the game and within 2-3 minutes it crashes ago. I have been playing all afternoon and spent more time restarting the game because of all the crashes. I bet its crashes 15 plus times this afternoon. I am really enjoy this game but the crashing is just getting out of hand. I know it might be a beta but this is elementary when putting out a game that cost $30. Right now I would not recommend anyone getting this due to all the crashing. I have gotten the error messages a few times same as Tlh5007. I internet is fine. I hope Frontier you fix this ASAP!! I would like to enjoy the game without all crashes.

It just got a bit worse for me. Xbox Live appears to be back up but not fully.
The Mrs decided she'd try and help by uninstalling (while I went to make a cup of Yorkshire Tea....mmmm) and the list of recent stuff isn't showing in the 'my games and apps' menu on the far right, so I can't reinstall from there. Upon searching for the game I'm met with 'Unavailable' when the page for it loads up.
