XONE Wipe date???

The thing that's funny about your never ending claims of being a lifelong beta tester is that your feedback is really low quality. Maybe nobody has ever told you that your constant accusatory demands are the worst kind of software feedback, but I don't know a single developer who wouldn't rather have constructive detailed descriptions of issues rather than notes braying about how they aren't doing their job correctly. But I know...30 years of being a beta tester. We all know.

My feedback is "Really Low Quality" you say? Well... that is certainly an unsubstanciated cheap shot if ever I heard one. Got any insults for my mother while you are at it?

I think I am going to head over to the bug reporting forum and count up the number of bug and issue reports you have submitted during this cycle as compared to mine since the 26th of June. And compare the quality of the two. I should also mention that in addition to my public submissions on the public facing Bug reporting forum, I have also provided Kae, Natalie and several other FD staff members with detailed follow ups to specific bug and issues reports at their request via the Private Message System. I didn't get the impression based on their responses to the originals or the follow ups that FD considered any of contributions to be "Really Low Quality". ;)

I guess we'll just have to wait and see who ends up with the most total submission and the most squashed bugs based on those submissions when the program wraps up. I most certainly don't have time to be sitting on the sidelines of this or any of the ED/XB1 forums tossing out cheap insults at the efforts of actual beta testers who simply want this version of the game to be as good as it possibly can be!

Now where is that "T" filter... Ooops! I mean, IGNORE button again? ;) Ahhh! There it is!

Huh... lots of walls of text. I hate trying to read those... Unless they are about SPAAAACE!! or Science.

I do use punctuation on mine, but I do apologize for having a proficient typing speed that allows me to type a reply relatively quickly. ;)

Don't worry though! I fixed that last post I made and simply cut to the chase. ;)

I'm outta here. I think we have beat this dead horse enough, but at least I got a chance to remove another peanut from my copy of the peanut gallery. :)

As the others have said, we'll need to have CQC under our belt first, AND the game has to pass Microsoft's scrutiny before being released on the Store properly, and they simply won't let a 3/4 finished game through. My guess? Around September/October. I think the timeline is going to be:
CQC on Xbox One for a week or two (1.4?)
"exciting new feature" announcement at Gamescom in 3 weeks.
CQC on the PC/Mac (1.4) and debugged
"exciting new feature" added to both platforms (incrementally?) and debugged. (1.5)

I have a strong feeling that whatever state the game is in by 1.5 will be "it", other than DLC. Updating the Xbox version with new features after release? Will that work?? In all honesty, FD have their work cut out for them. The game is amazing, but the "release before it's finished" has been a massive double-edged sword. They've raised oodles of cash through both Mac/Xbox buyers and DLC and merchandise, but their communication skills haven't evolved since March 2014.

Shhh now with the common sense... this is a public forum after all.

Anyway I for one am very thankful for Dave giving me the opportunity to play this version of Elite and even if the full game never actually sees the light of day on console I'll still be thankful for the amazing experience I've had with it so far. I still havent had a look at Sol yet, must do that soon.
Three cheers for Dave and his team....

Lol dave ???? You guys close ??? As for me ived one my part in this test lol, i wish all the best but my xbox is tired of crashing lol... wayyyy to many good games to play , i venture back when "dave" gets his game abit healthier

Ah the good old ignore button, the equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and going "lalalalalalalalalalalalalala"...
