I was just checking this subforum, because I just found out about this game and wanted to make a thread about it here. You beat me to it!
I really looks awesome. I have to admit I love this "fantasy space" kind of visuals more than the realistic type of space we can see in Elite, and Everspace looks really beautiful. I like the idea that every run will be different, and hope the game will have enough content and variety so as not to be "different yet the same" every time. I'm also wondering if there will be any freedom to go back, dock at stations, etc. or if it will have a more level-like approach (which seems to be the case).
Any way I hope it gets funded, and gets HOTAS support, which would also come along with a console version.
The guys behind this game are the ones who made Galaxy On Fire games, which were awesome mobile games, they were basically a mobile version of Freelancer, and the second entry even got ported to PC too. This has to give them some serious credibility for making a new space game.
Man those last ten years were hard on space games fans, but eversince Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen (litterally) kickstarted the genre again, there seems to be project after project! I wish they all turn out as good and successful as ED.
