Yembo Communtiy Goal Finished.

Found the under construction station.

Rather disappointing really its called Under Construction and is no different from other oculus stations other than its solar panels are missing.

You can request docking, it looks exactly the same inside as any other station.

Has a commodities market, black market contacts but no repairs or bulletin board.

Very disappointing i was kinda expecting a skeleton of a station with little construction droids welding stuff together.


Really ain't worth the 250 ly journey.

Its in New Yembo (as the patch notes say). why all the resources were collected in Yembo and then magically arrived in New Yembo is beyond me, they must have star trek type transporters that sent all the stuff there and auto assembled it. Either that ot FD messed up and put it in the wrong place. very immersion breaking if you ask me.

I think that is actually what is happening right now. This is stage one of the station's construction. The docking module has been jumped into the system and moved into position with a gigantic FSD Drive attached to its back:

It does not yet have any shipyard facilities, no outfitting, and no bulletin board. The commodity market is the first thing that is up and running.

I visited New Yembo today to see what's going on there. The system is full of ringed planets:

And those rings are full of resource extraction sites... I have never seen so many in one system before. The system is also riddled with checkpoints, and contacts called "seeking goods". I haven't figured out what those are yet.

I suspect that over the coming weeks, during weekly updates or server restarts, the following construction phases of that new station are going to be implemented.

Stage 2 - the docking module will lose the giant FSD drive and probably get some scaffolding to attach modules to.

Stage 3 - skeletons of the first modules will be attached to the scaffolding

Stage 4 - first modules will be finished, additional modules and habitat ring will be added as half finished skeletons

... and so on.

I suspect that repair facilities, outfitting stations and a shipyard will also be added in various stages.

I hope the bulletin board is next, and we can get some interesting missions to help establish this new frontier station.

The selling prices in Yembo are worse than other systems with no booming or construction activity. Makes perfect sense.

its still a difference sitting next to a capital with turrets on and going afk while snatching kills off that capital and hauling 15000 tonnes of metal

Just paid a visit to Yembo, it's nice to see Res Seps have already recovered, are in medium supply at around 450 credits below galactic average with a quantity of 40k in stock
