There are many previously occupied systems in the bubble with pristine reserves. Those reserves don't seem to deplete over time, either.

Yeah Ok. For some reason I had in my head that pristine meant no population was in that system, obviously I was wrong. If pristine rings are forever then yay, it is good for mining them.

Just finished tier 3 planetary port solo... ~220k Tons delivered, and that's after about 200k building other stuff in the system :s 100k+ of metal shipping is pretty tiresome.
Anarcky faction moved into the Tier 3 port, I guess I'd like to boot them out at some point but not sure how.

To be quite honest, I just might wait for a bigger ship before I tackle a Tier 3 port, orr eve a 2, getting a bit grind with little to show for it.
