I've been on the cusp of this for months. Maybe the CZ payment boost will give me the impetus to get combat elite over the line. :unsure:

Trade I did first as it was the 'to hand' means of making early money, followed closely by exploration.

Funnily enough I spent the majority of the first couple months trading too. Just to fund my combat though :D

On main i got Elite in Trade and Exploration about 2-3 months after i started - i blame that on running lots of supply delivery missions, then lots of sightseeing missions.
Combat was moving at a much slower rate, but once i hit deadly i really wanted the triple elite decal and i put together a nice Crusader, named it Rarity, and made those scouts pay for their incursions.

On alt i'm not that fussed about the decal and almost one year after i started, i barely got to Dangerous - and this is because of quite the number of recent combat / bounty CG

Well done OP! Interesting though, as I found exploration the quickest to obtain yet the combat one the longest and, imo, quite tedious. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. :)

Congrats my first was Exploration with the old system before the probes, then trade long time ago,for Combat I still need to finish last two Ranks,it will come eventually.
