You can't do the new wing missions using multicrew?

Why is multicrew so limited? Can't do missions, can't do SRV stuff, can't do trading where your crew gets a cut of the profits.

The wing missions should allow multicrew.

There could be, it makes sense. tbh I'm not sure why there needs to be any distinction. Make all missions wing/multicrew capable & just remove the 'wing' icons. If I want to move 50 tonnes of crop harvesters in a Hauler I should be able to.

However I can't help but feel the clue is in the name ;)

The hint is in the name. Wing. MC isn't a wing. That said; there's nothing stopping a commander taking on a wing mission, and then having crew. It's just crew won't make any profit because newbies would make zillions AFK farming!!!1

They are allowed. They just won't be paid. So as much as you have a valid gripe, there's zero limitation preventing this. Its allowed. 100%. People just won't make bank. I didn't say that was a good thing. It's just a thing. You'd think this would be a fairly logical thing to add; but this isn't a logical place and people have weird ideas.

Can't you wing up, share the wing mission, leave the wing, and then join their ship? Once the mission is shared, anyone completing it will count for everyone.

I haven't tested it yet. Some of the wing cargo missions could take a few sessions to complete if you don't have one of the top end cargo ships. I can't see FDev punishing players for not being in the same wing for days at a time.

Simple fact

Multicrew is already dead from Frontier 's point of view.

They won't invest time to make multicrew has much profitable as wing.
They band it with stupid rules making it difficult to undersrand ( without any documentation ig) and really not interesting for most of players ( that need credit and are not billion owner)

Did I resume it ?

In the other hand, you have so much exploit in this game that making credit is so easy...
