You first 24 hours - how far?

if you want to recoup some cash, a 3B fuel scoop works almost as well as a 3A on the Cobra

I did exactly as you planned last night - went to the barnacles and got some meta alloys and picked up loads of materials from the spikes, then headed to FF for some engineering. I also sold my exploration data to her too so that helped me rank her up

I forgot how much fun it is to fly the Cobra 3 - I think I went to the ASPX to quickly on eggbox one :)

I went with the A scoop as they're always lighter than a B and once you start engineering it's not uncommon for your heat resistance to lower making a larger scoop easier to handle the change.

Seriously seriously tempted to just wack an A rated fsd and intermediate dc on the cobra and just sod the credits and head out there! 😎

Got my beloved Cobra MKIII after doing some courier / haulage missions in my Sidey. I am now trying to upgrade it. I plan of sticking with it for a while, at least. Once I have a good enough FSD, with an Advanced / Detailed Discovery Scanner, I will be off exploring and hunting some aliens! Not to kill them, you understand, just to study them...and possibly run away, if required! I'm not sure how long this will last, but I am hoping to remain Combat Harmeless, disabling rather than destroying ships and never grinding at a RES. I may even become a search and rescue dude when 2.4 hits, for escape pods, etc... I'm roleplaying an explorer / scientist / rescuer who wouldn't hurt a fly, but can defend himself and the defenceless, when necessary. Peace out, CMDRs! ;)

Basically been grinding delivery misions, tried some mining which was painfully slow, ended up jettisoning what i'd mined and went back to the missions.Got a couple mil now and my first multi crew so i can play with a friend...oh,i've also been taking screenshots every few minutes,i'm obsessed.

Ah I found a trick to this, look for a npc that is mining and then before he can scoop up the fragments collect them. I managed to finish my mining tutorial like this.

I've just realised I've not fired a single shot yet on ps4 not even in the tutorials as I did the travel one to check controls before I started the game. I've been interdicted once but just evaded it lol 😁

Same here, not a shot fired in anger and performed one Brave Sir Robin.

I had about 4 hrs yesterday to play and bought a hauler right away to do boom missions. Quickly had enough to buy the dolphin. Plan on doing passenger mission so I can purchase a cobra, viper, eagle quickly. Grind to a rate them for specific roles and a rate them. then hopefully jump into something a little bigger. Only thing is I have doubles at work Thurs and Fri so will not play till sat and it's killing me.lol. Good luck everyone else.

In my case I'd say it's more by luck than judgement that I've not fired a shot. If it wasn't for the fact that hardpoints are stowed away I'd have lost a few ships inside stations whilst fumbling at the controls [haha]

You definitely can get creative in griefing miners by flying around them with a swarm of collector limpets as they as plowing away. Sadly, the NPCs mine stupid asteroids with little value most of the time.

Did some data courier missions, some exploration. Oh, and I went and bought a couple tons of Void Exctract Coffee and sold it for the Lave-CG. Was only enough to bring me into the 100%, but eh. The pay-off is still enough to get me a Viper IV, which is what I wanted. :D

I only just got onto the CG a couple of hours ago after looking for a reason to leave the comfort of the starter system area. Grabbed some Eranin Whisky and legged it to Lave, after a quick stop off to pick up some other trade goods up at Leesti. Next thing you know I'm madly grinding my way into the top 50%. Should be an easy 10 million. Just loggin' in now to see if its claimable...
