Well, it happened yesterday.
I (Cobra) was in a fight against a Type-7 iirc.
It effectively did a 180 and ended more or less motionless pointing in my general direction.
I was coming in hot, and cut off power. As I slowly slid to a halt I tried to avoid its main bulk but its left wing clipped my ship and I exploded in microscopic dust. I was probably going slightly faster than the Titanic when it was opened by an iceberg. In short, considering the speed we can go up to, I was crawling. If my memory serves me right, my hull was at 80% and his at 60%, both our shields were out.
Anyway, It would be nice if speed, somehow, counted when colliding, because it sure didn't look like it did.
