There are loads of them. There are 2 basic water world types, one always has these tiny islands. Also check out the earth like in fujin, I think it is. Check my exploration gems link I put it there .

And in the original Elite the Thargons could pull a ship out of witch space, so jump range doesn't mean much when they are waiting between the stars for their next victim!
