Wanted. Your Commander logs, diaries and stories.

I've started a collection on Medium.com to gather together in-character logs, diaries and stories.

Medium, if you don't know, is a writing platform founded by the two twitter founders. (https://medium.com/about/9e53ca408c48)

I thought it'd be good to get some ED exposure on Medium with some fun and interesting reports from the field.

If you signup you'll be able to write and submit your work to the Elite Stories collection.

Even if you don't want to write and have a twitter account you can help the effort by boosting our follower numbers by clicking "follow" on https://medium.com/elite-stories

So you'd like to write something, or if you've already got an in-character blog, or news site and want to submit a story or two, to aid both your exposure and EDs then jump straight in please! :D

Great idea!

I set up an Elite 'travel blog' website last year when I heard about Elite, obviously haven't got much content to put on there yet (just alpha related stuff for now) but I'd like to add a link to your site if that's ok?

I'll be writing my own journals and stories of adventures in Elite so will send some your way when the time comes. :smilie:

Talking of exploits, CMDR Blackley's promised an in-character account of his Anaconda theft and other shenanigans :)

I will gladly take part! I have been thinking about adding a monthly editorial on my my blog, as a kind of summary of in-game activity. So I will likely put that forward.

I shall have to make an edit to an earlier mention I made of Blackley's Anaconda! :eek:

Great idea! I have a flight log for Alpha I've been working on and will probably keep adding chapters to it here on the forums. You can add it to your Medium site if you wish. Not sure if you can link it or do we need to activate a page and upload it to your blog?

If you have a particular story you'd like to submit then sign into medium, create it, it has some rather nice ways of doing beautiful images, and submit to the collection.

In your case you could just copy and paste one of your favourites. Or post a few to create an ongoing story. At the end of one story you can suggest a link to another.
