Your current fleet

The Jonester Fleet past and Present

Had a number of ships since starting.... In order of purchase:

1. Sidewinder - GAXUS - Sold
2. Viper MKIII - WARLOCK - Sold
3. Viper MKIV - RENEGADE - Just recently sold, kinda sad about it. Great all rounder to start
4. DBX - RECON - Felt like flying a bumblebee - and you never go full . Sold
5. ASP X - RECON II - Does a lot of things well - Currently my long haul/explorer ship - sometime passenger
6. ICourier - HAVOC - Short mission/combat ship - Went with this instead of the Vulture, as I like ships with multi-role ability
7. Cobra MkIII - No Name - Just picked it up last night for short hop/in system missions/ground assault - Tired of people shooting at the expensive Asp X

I will probably be getting a Python in the next few days and sell off the Asp X, and go back to a DBX for exploration. Clipper and FAS are also in my sights, grinding rep for those two now.

~Jonester

Cobra MkIII - General Purpose small ship (combat/missions) - Waiting at current CG station LTT 4961 for bounty hunting with friends.
Type 6 - Bulk Trading - Currently doing the LTT 4961 trading CG.
Diamondback Explorer - Exploration Trips - currently stored until I can build up more capital. Crashing on a planet over 5,000 LYs away from human bubble on first trip bummed me out big time.

Goals: Type 9 for massive bulk trading profits. Anaconda of course eventually. Make it to Sag A* and Colonia and bring back a ton of exploration data.

Sidewinder - Snatch (was launch night and couldn't think of a name)
Cobra mkiii - Neo
Dolphin - Jet (reminds me of a pixar character lol.

Python next! I was hoping to have one by now but decided to take a different path this time and have concentrated on getting rep with a couple of stations, Farseer upto level 5, engineering mats and just got my sol permit last night :)

I've spent alot of time doing the above on the vita tbh as it's perfect for the long ish distances involved and only really struggles with combat which I've avoided so far ;)

I can add the python to that list now :) off to visit Farseer next which is in the same general direction as the latest trade cg ;)

Vulture - Return of the Cylons (needs outfitting)
Asp Explorer - To Boldy Go -(Such a great ship)
I- Clipper - Diplomatic Immunity (barely flown)
Python - Unnamed (such a terrible jump range)
Anaconda - Lollipop (my current love, a Tour-a-conda filled with passenger cabins. I squeaze my buttcheeks every time I scrape it through the mailslot with a criminal mastermind in the cabin)

I'm trying for a Cutter because I'm a big imp fan. But that rep grind is real.

I have an upgraded Sidewinder and an upgraded Cobra MkIII. I had a Hauler but sold it when I bought my Cobra. It was okay but just not something I wanted to keep. Should have bought the Adder instead.

Why keep the winder, it cost to ship and their free if needed.

Here's my little fleet:

My little fleet to date:

Sidewinder - Unnamed, lasted just as long as it took to earn enough for a Cobra (SOLD)
Cobra Mk.III - Last Laugh. My baby; used for missions, bounty hunting and small speculative cargo runs.
Asp Explorer - Problem Child. Just purchased, still in dock awaiting upgrades before I take her out. Intended for exploration / cargo hauling once upgraded.

EDIT

Dolphin - Gallivant. Passenger missions.

You've skipped over a lot of great ships.

You've skipped over a lot of great ships.

Given the cost of A-rating the Asp relative to my current earning potential in my Cobra there is every chance I will buy at least one or two other ships before the Asp is ready to go. I just had the overwhelming urge to buy something shiny and expensive.

Cutter: fully engineered combat layout. Awesome ship! But, its dry docked.
Python: fully engineered combat layout. Good ship, dry docked.
FDL: fully engineered combat layout. My go to ship. The reason I keep coming back to the game!!! But, dry docked right now.
ASP-X: fully engineered, running passenger missions and combat. She has 2 burst lasers and 4 canons.

I just the Oculus for the summer sale, I'm enjoying the open cockpit of the ASP too.

Just A-Rate the FSD and D-Rate everything else. Downgrade the shield generator into the 3 slot.

Now you'll have a thing that can carry moderate amount of cargo or switched over to carry a moderate amount of passengers (two lots, a 6C First Class and a BD Business). Get lucky and you might pick up two "transport x" missions worth 6 mil each if you're allied with the minor factions. This particular arrangement goes 28ly.

The most expensive thing is gonna be that FSD at 5.1 mil or so, but once it's setup, it's a great way to make money and pays its own way.

I've cut way back

I'm down to 43 ships

No T - X freighters

3 Cutters

4 Anaconda

1 Corvette

1 Beluga

1 Orca

2 Clippers

3 Python

2 FDL

3 Asp

And a bunch more... little ones Cobras, Vipers, Vulture, Eagles, Haulers (for taxi duty - the one that can do 642M/S is a hoot).

and an iCourier - of course.

A FAS and a Gunship too.

I think that's about right.

Ooops - forgot the iEagle - the wake scanner

On the PS4 I only have a small fleet

Sidewinder : Sidewinder...
Dolphin : Spacebus.(for passenger missions)
Anaconda : Excelsior.(for multi crew combat with my friends and also cargo hauling)

I'm guessing you're not PS4.

Nah - I just look at new posts, don't pay much attention to thread section...

But my second account only has an Adder

and when I get a second ship on that account

I'm gonna

subtract the Adder

Only 1085 more posts needed to get Forum Elite...
