Yup yup.

I want to land in some isolated bay with my spouse, walk out of the ship and just hang out for a bit, watching the sunset and stuff. Take a break from the hustle and bustle. Getting sand in places I didn't know I had and things.

Now that you mention it, a "faction conflict" expansion would be better than stumbling around inside a cabin. More faction assets, conflicts, missions, and grander space opera tendencies in general. Could easily dig into that.

That is more likely to occur as an injected event, rather than as an expansion

I want the rich planets but for me its flying into the atmosphere and landing the craft whatever the planet size that is important.

I'm really not bothered about hunts and any of that stuff if we dont get to fly through the atmosphere first.

That for me was what made Frontier and FFE so cool

I was tempted to vote 'other' as I'm hoping planetary/moon landing will be the same expansion.

Then you would have had to wait a few more years before the game was released.

But if you buy the expansion pack now you will get all future expansions for free.

thought aliens are already there, did the original game not have aliens? come on space game without aliens, u kidding right?

There have been no aliens promised at launch, and parts of space are being planned to be cordoned off for that. Thus expansion is needed. And it's missing from the list.

And there was only one race IIRC, we could ask for more.

I think the thargoids will be part of the original ED release. So they won't come at extra charge.

No, they were not promised as part of the KS campaign, and I'm quite sure none of the expansions in OP were listed as launch items. Therefore they are legitimate expansions, and you are getting what you paid for and the full game, just like everyone else here.

Indeed, they are expansions suggested by Frontier in the last newsletter # 29.

I always hate it when devs release expansions/dlc when they have just released a game and here we are discussing them before the game even has a confirmed release date. So lets just get the game released and take it from there please. The only expansion that is a must have is the planetary landings, because without that this really isnt likely to be a great game. I am sure I will quite quickly get fed up just flying around space.
