Amen. Best starship ever. And that's not just my opinion, God thinks so too. We discussed it.
Ingame....sigh.....not spoilt for choice...but the Imperial Clipper gets it on looks. Sadly even that doesn't look as good as the original, which tells you a great deal about this iteration of the Elite series.

In Game? A toss up between the Vulture and the Asp.
Sci-Fi? I go back to a ship that can transport the family, but only needs a single pilot to operate:
The Jupiter 2 from Lost In Space.
The science was flawed, the story was (after the first season) hokey as well as ridiculous but,
I still would LOVE to have the ship.

Naa, you'd never be in single control of it?, now the Voyager galaxy class star ship would be more like it.
Such a great show, and it had so much potential, especially with the Aerotech subplot. It was a crime how much Fox screwed them over, especially when it came to the schedule and moving episodes around.

I enjoy the FDS, Anaconda, Lakon Type 9, and Lakon Type 7 the most in the cosmetic sense, but as for functionality it's the Cobra all the way, best ship in Elite.
I hate all of the imperial Designs, both Saud Kruger and Gutamaya. It's way too flashy, I'd like to see more iron, gritty, industrial looks in this game, not flashy plastic.
