Africa: fennec fox
Asia: red panda
Europe: Eurasian lynx
Oceania: red kangaroo
South America: giant anteater

I’ll give it a shot:
  • Africa: probably the greater flamingo/ the lemurs
  • Asia: the red crowned crane
  • Europe: mute swan
  • Oceania: Cassowary/ red kangaroo
  • South America: probably the caimans or the capybara
  • North America: the alligator!

North America - California Sea Lion
South America - Tie between the maned wolf, king penguin, and giant otter.
Europe - Tie between the grey seal and wisent.
Africa - African Elephant
Asia - Tie between the siamang, bornean orangutan, and Indian elephant.

Thought about it, il mention animals that are exclusive to that continent. I’d say wolves and foxes but I want to keep exclusive to continents.
NA: Dall sheep. Good memories of watching them climb the cliffs of Denali when I lived there.
SA: Manned wolf. So silly looking and I am fond of canids.
EU: Ibex
AF: giraffes. Giraffes are one of my all time favorite animals.
Asia: red crowned crane: I like making Japanese like gardens for them, adding effects to their shallow waters and that they get along well with other animals.
AU: dingo

Honorable mentions. Some are multi continent
NA: timber wolves, red foxes
SA: peccary
EU: moose multi continent
AF: African wild dog
Asia: binturong
AU: cassowary

Least favorites
NA: prarie dogs: they eat too much and get hungry notifications, need more room then they should.
SA: dwarf caiman: they could tolerate more or need small space.
EU: undecided
AF: hippopotamus: requirements are too damn much, I can never satisfy them, I’ve had horrible times building for them.
Asia: lar gibbons. I like the color variety’s, I’m just greatly disappointed that they are not accurate brachiators.

Africa: African bush elephant. Just my favorite animal in general. Though I can't not give a shout out to both hyena species, the fennec, and the African wild dog, the very latter of which was my first animal ever placed in game back in beta and has had frequent use since, so probably my most used animal as a whole.
Asia: Indian elephant, the other elephant option whom I also like very much. The crowned crane is probably the most useful animal in the entire game for me though.
South America: Maned wolf, literally one of the silliest guys ever. I aspire to be that silly.
Oceania: North Island brown kiwi! Tied with the elephant as my favorite as a whole, though honorable mentions to the lil' blue and the wallaby. Here and Africa are where most of my favorites come from so its tough competition.
North America: American alligator, though I'm biased since I used to see these guys all the time in the wild.
Europe: Mute swan, but if we get more useful waterfowl down the line it'll probably switch back to the grey seal.

Africa: Reticulated Giraffe - Giraffes were my favourite animals as a kid, and I still love them to this day. I have actually barely used them in PZ thus far because I rarely get far enough into builds to where it feels suitable to include them, though thankfully they should be showing up in Stringybark Zoo soon
Asia: Komodo Dragon - Varanids are some of my favourite animals, and what's not to love about the world's biggest?
Europe: European Fallow Deer - Basic, but that's what makes them so useful. Plus I find them really pretty
Oceania: Tasmanian Devil - i might like this animal I think
South America: Maned Wolf - why he legs like that
North America: American Alligator - As well as being one of my favourite North American animals irl, the alligator is my go-to crocodilian for most zoos I'm building due to their abundance in captivity and the fact that the saltie model is rather poor

Oh this one is hard. I have many favorites. I'll give it a try though...

* África: Meerkats - cute and fun and a favorite in real life as well.
- Runner ups: African penguin, African Elephant, african wild dog

* Asia: Lar Gibbons - love how active and vocal they are. I prefer them over the siamang because of the color variants and their size.
- Runner ups: red panda, ASCO, Indian peafowl, Clouded leopard, Komodo dragon

* Oceanía: Kiwi - unique little bird, love their animations and great model.
- Runner ups: Cassowary, platypus, red kangaroo.

*Europe: mute swan - without a doubt. The most interesting and beautiful animal that we got from Europe.
- Runner ups: fallow deer, Grey seal, Alpine ibex, iberian lynx

*North América: Californian sea lion - i love pinnipeds. They are very entertaining to look at. Sea lions are essentials for every zoo.
- Runner ups: prairie dog, beaver, american bison

* South América: jaguar - my favorite big cat and my favorite SA animal irl. They could look better ingame but i still think is one of the best animals from South América that we got.
- Runner ups: capybara, maned wolf, giant otter, giant Anteater, nine banded armadillo.
