Zero reason an asp shouldnt destroy a cobra. I had one, they <were not very good>. But, all of a sudden they can anihilate an asp. Id get the shields down then they disappear, cant get them back in sight, somehow they manuever like an eagle. Stupid game, you guys program for    

Edit 3: my favorites so far "missed the 2nd n in my name" lol... get that all the time... the "jean luc" post, I seriously miss TNG... the "kitty holding the thread". Comedy abounds! Keep em comin. To all the morale warriors... get outta ur moms basement.

Edit: lots of white knights and warrior princesses. Ok, go ahead, let the salt and lemon juice abound. You want to spend endless hours grinding for obscure materials, go for it. You want to enjoy this craptastic glitch fest of a game, do it. But I dont feel bad. This game has more glitches than bytes.

You're trash, I can out fly an Asp in a cobra any day.
Not so great the other way around, is it?

Cobra is an awesome ship, now flown by awesome AI.

The ASP isn't really a combat ship outside piracy, so there's that. You should have just FSD'd outta' there. Cobra can't even mass lock you.

Oh my, the fastest ship on the game loses it shields runs and you cant catch it so its a trash game, do yourself a favour and choose your words more wisely in the future, your more than likely now opened your self for annihilation.

Well then friend. Time to hang up the spacesuit and move onto easier games.

Several reasons a Cobra will work the ASP over, such as

Pilot skill

Ship outfitting

Pip management

Why is the Cobra disappearing? Its the fastest ship in the game.


The game is mostly fine.
Granted. Yes some bugs but otherwise it's fine. They will get fixed just like always.


Some of players though. Those I'm not sure about.

My expensive ship was destroyed by a cheaper ship, mimimimimimi. Do you even FA off? And please don't tell me you got your butt whooped by a NPC.

OP, you need to know how to run.

I'm terrible at combat, so I've been learning how to run. You don't have to kill your attacker, as this isn't CoD.

It was a Cobra. you could just put four pips to SYS & jump back into supercruise. EASY.

"Just use this one weird trick!"

These lower tier ship options suck ass.
Vulture, woah, awesome... wait, no it isnt because of its massive power issues and weak glass.
Asp, lots of guns and armor, but cant manuever.
Cobra, weak ass ship.

They all have massive problems.

Now this really sounds like a problem on the button end of the controller...

The Cobra Mk iii is one of the most manoeuvrable and fastest ships in the game period. The ASP is not, and flown by a poor pilot it's even worse.
