Thought as a few of us have mentioned they have a few older machines (Geraldine :D) , consoles and the like they have. Could be interesting to see whats out there.

So, my collection (including the kids stuff ;))

1) Amigas, 1x 1200 2x500 2x500+ 1x600
2) Gameboy (somewhere)
3) Panasonic 3DO (Still working)
4) Think theres still a GBA knocking about somewhere.

Now I come to look at it it explaines where all the money goes :p

:D

As for me, my "collection" is as follows, XBox (original), XBox 360, A Spectrum +2 and it still works! God knows how though and it only crashes about 50% of the time, just like when it was new then :D

Miggys! :D

A500+ (a 68010 chip coming soon) with an A590 HD & an A570 CDTV drive, A1200 with an 030 board, another A1200 with an 040 board (both of these will be getting 4 GIG CF drives soon), totally standard CD32 (dont know what to do with this, maybe get an SX module for it someday) and the big A4000 (please come home soon!:()

Oh and a PeeCee, it's a dual core something or other, rubbish! :S

Give it to me! :D

I played FE2 on my CD32 for years, with a paper clip jammed down the side of the "reset" button to stop it randomly resetting half-way through a mission :mad:

By the way Geraldine, welcome to the "Dangerous" club on the Frontier Forums. Just five of us, plus Michael Brookes :smilie:

:D

Oooo, I never even noticed! :eek: Thanks guys! :smilie:

Must have been all those rants I did about Elite IV :eek: Some of you though, are well on your way to the Deadly rating. I don't think I will ever reach that....unless Frontier can give me something to rant about! ;)

As for the CD32 reset button, that is a common fault, but easily fixed with a bit of hackery skills. Also if any of you are considering getting a CD32, note that early manufactured ones had two of their capacitors fitted the wrong way round, this only effected models made up to around September 1993. Most are ok though.

And Steve, get thee to Amibay, they turn up there all the time, in fact you just missed a massive sale of new-old stock........

What is the Deadly rating post count?

Well the original rankings for Elite were

Harmless 0
Mostly Harmless 4
Poor 8
Below Average 16
Average 32
Above Average 64
Competent 128
Dangerous 1,000
Deadly 3,000
Elite 6,000

But I'm pretty sure the FE & FFE ones were less as on here Dangerous is set at 500 posts, So it may be that Deadly is only 1500.....

So, get posting Steve your nearly there :D

From Ian Bell's website (referring to BBC Elite)...

Dangerous = 0x0200 = 512
Deadly = 0x0A00 = 2560
Elite = 0x1900 = 6400

...which is why it took such a long time to get from Dangerous to Deadly :(

(YES! by only posting one hardware gadget per post I can son reach the 512 post I need to become at least dangerous :D )

I also have a nice TrackMan Marble FX:
