Following the recent disturbing events in Pleiades sector related to attack on several stations by Thargoid ships, which lead to a numerous casualties, Leader of EG Union Yuri Grom has made the following statement:
"When we've met alien entities, known as Thargoids, for the first time, our opinions was very different. Some of us saw them as an absolute evil and threat that must be eliminated, others, on the onther hand, claimed that they are but victims of the dire circumstances and misunderstanding, and that we should establish contacts with them. We can argue about this for eternity, but the situation requires to act at a faster than light speed. Thargoids have attacked human's stations. Dozens, if not hundreds of thousands of lives were endangered - this is unarguably a cold act of aggression.
The time has come to forget feuds of the past and leave petty squables behind - people must unite in the sake of protection of the humanity! Euryale High Council have already issued an order of "Necessity of evacuation of people from attacked systems and the necessity of providing a protection for all transports, involved in evacutaive efforts.
From now on, all Thargoid ships that demonstrate agression must be subjected to interception and destruction. At the same time, our efforts of establishing a non-weapon contact with alien representatives must continue, though, we all understand that this requires participation from both sides."
