Zoo wont load up???

I'm currently trying to finish the Zoologist Steam Achievement and I'm trying to load up old Zoos to see which animals I have researched...
All my zoos load up, but my first zoo which I haven't played on for a couple of patches now.
I've been on the loading zoo for 10 mins now im wondering is it taking so long to load in because it was such a big zoo with 5000 visitors or because I haven't played on it since 3 patches ago..
This is very annoying.

Also I'm trying to track which animals I fully researched in career mode.. It either gives me an option to resume the career map, but it starts at silver when I have gold starred all the career maps.. Why would it reload me to silver progressive and not gold????????????????????????????????????????
Then the maps i couldn't "resume" it says start again..

Bad luck I'm afraid. Unfortunately I think major patches do often break saves but you could try sending it to the community @ frontier email address to see if it retrievable. On career mode it sounds weird, did you save them after you had won gold? It opens mine ok on my gold ones but I did save them complete.
