It's exclusivity - the rare and unachievable things seem so much more attractive. And that's why they become more expensive.

Because this not made game is fun to play with the 100 non imaginary ships already in it ! And every patch expand it's gameplay/things to do.

I get that, what I mean is you have these concepts, buy them and later on find out the devs think its too much work. Its this financing on broken promises which I find mystifying since its whale milk keeping the game going on big ticket items.
