Well, if you want to do something rather than just hope, then you should try convincing Apple to add Vulkan support to MacOS. It's pretty certain they aren't going to add back OpenGL nor update it beyond the 2014 levels, which Frontier would need to update their ancient MacOS client (so that's a lost cause), but Vulkan might not be ruled out entirely. And hey, if you somehow did manage to convince them, and then managed to convince Frontier to add Vulkan support too, then that would benefit the entire ED community.I still hope that Frontier might reconsider the macOS client
Back when Thargoid combat was new, the new countermeasures, toys etc were added over time, not all of them at once. For example, when I killed my first Interceptor, I only had AX missiles to do it with. I suspect this roll-out will be the case here as well, not that we'll get a message saying "Taranis is here, here's a bunch of new equipment to survive and combat the new Thargoid threat, good luck Commander!"In HIP 22460 we can't fight, because of degradation of almost all guardian weapons and modules. If Stargoids will put other (inhabited) systems into same state, then we
really need something, maybe AX Shield Generator, to stop this damages. And Grelics could be part of this new module.
I am half expecting a message saying ‘Taranis is there, we here on Raxxla in Andromeda wish you the best of luck’Back when Thargoid combat was new, the new countermeasures, toys etc were added over time, not all of them at once. MoltenVk already exists to use Vulkan on macOS by implementing it on top of Metal - but it’s unfortunately limited by Metal lacking features, meaning many common Vulkan extensions and features are not available. And given that Metal is modelled after Apple’s GPUs it’s not exactly likely that a native implementation will add all that missing functionality.Well, if you want to do something rather than just hope, then you should try convincing Apple to add Vulkan support to MacOS. So, if you do decide to act and give these a try, then I wish you the best of luck!
Nobody is talking about the most important bit in this update
"Fixed "Cactoida Pullulanta - Green" being labelled "Cactoida Vermis - Green
Pffft, I'm still hoping they reconsider the Raspberry Pi client! I mean, the Pi is David Braben's baby as much as Elite, so why is ED not on the Pi?I still hope that Frontier might reconsider the macOS client,
Maybe we are back to square one with this:Back when Thargoid combat was new, the new countermeasures, toys etc were added over time, not all of them at once. I don't do AX combat, but if half of the bubble's systems keep melting down the Guardian SRPs in my Adder after this update, I'll be slightly miffed. The Adder is cardboard without them.In HIP 22460 we can't fight, because of degradation of almost all guardian weapons and modules. If Stargoids will put other (inhabited) systems into same state, then we

It was mentioned on Frameshift Live they were rebalancing the non-Guardian AX weapons to be a bit more effective with the intention that players wanting to try out AX wouldn't have to spend hours gathering all the guardian stuff first.Maybe we are back to square one with this:
- AX Missile Racks have had their damage increased.
Proof that everlasting peace was never really an option. It was mentioned on Frameshift Live they were rebalancing the non-Guardian AX weapons to be a bit more effective with the intention that players wanting to try out AX wouldn't have to spend hours gathering all the guardian stuff first.
Not for at least an hour - and that's assuming the original timetable doesn't slip.are we there, yet?
Well remembered. Guess we know what they're waiting for now. This issue is still hanging over from Update 13
When will this get fixed?
- [NEW!] When a system enters Incursion from Incursion Pending, Starports are not currently catching fire.
