New cinematic of the Thargoids causing mayhem.............
Edit: New Thargoid war map on the galmap, cool.
Bindings seem fine, no issue's yet but I'm way out in the black.
Maybe it's just me but the graphics definitely look much better on my 3080.

You can get a correct version of the Launcher from the Frontier store, if you bought from Frontier directly. Log into your account and go to your Downloads page.

That appears to be the legacy vesion that is causing the problem. I had several in my downloads folder before I went to the store front.

Well, I just downloaded it and it is different from the one I downloaded in August. (Not ran it though.) It says that it is version 0.4.6779.0
I got into the game OK. Checked out the new galaxy map stuffs, and all the various Thargoid activity.
It's pretty nicely done. I'm pleased to see that there are non-combat activities included, such as rescue and evacuation, calls for supplies, that sort of thing, and maybe some sciency stuff to do regarding the Orthrus.
I've decided to move my carrier back into the bubble, near where some of the rescue stuff is going on. I might enjoy that.

Its another week before exobiology data sale values go up.
I like the sound of that. My download went smoothly so will login in my morning to see what's up.

Scratch that. It's a one week delay from the original date, which makes it today with update 14.

I was only down to notoriety 1 when it shut down, it was close. Fortunately,

enough of humanity survived (sorry if that's a spoiler..) for me to sit around another half an hour, visit the interstellar factor, clear my eleven bounties, and fly home. Where I end up buying some more anti-xeno guns (gotta try 'em all!) from a federal mega ship conveniently orbiting my home planet, Biggs Colony -

After I've done the download (or sounds like more than just one download,) I'll give the on-foot CZs a go in that system I'm docked in. (If the CZs are still there that is.)
After that, I might give some surface prospecting a go to see if it's been improved in Odyssey.
Oh and I still haven't sold all that exo data I got during that long exploration trip I just finished. (Even though it might still be on the same tariff as before, since I got it all before the update but whatever...)

I've pulled off the dust sheets on the T-10 and am in the process of fitting it out for AX. Need to haul but to Shin Dez for a new power plant and bits n bobs.
