Are all FC still exisiting in both Leprosy….ahem….sorry….”Legacy” mode and Odyssey? Like the Deep space support array carriers? Just seems like there’s still alot of carriers around still after update 14….

Your console account can't move the FC in Live severs... only legacy as stated, they remain untill carrier balance is empty in 4.0..
Console account can not decommision or access the FC in 4.0... as only PC account get 4.0..
To move a FC in live 4.0 version you had to have had a PC account before the galaxy was cloned with a FC...
PC account can move carriers independently in each version of 3.8 and 4.0... you were gifted a cloned FC to legacy...

I'm honestly a little worred about this. I'm active in "Live" mode, but have no plans for "Legacy".
The idea of an alternate universe (Legacy) where my Fleet Carrier is decommissioned doesn't appeal to me. I suppose as long as it doesn't impact my Live experience it's not a big deal. But for some reason it annoys me.
I suppose I can just sell it in Legacy, and keep it in Live, right?
My XB carrier is still present in the Live* galaxy
Unfortunately i forgot to set docking to all before the split, so now it's just a useless hulk since no one on live can dock with it and can at least benefit from the full services it's offering.
And it has 19 billions in the carrier bank so it will take more than 14 years to decommission
*(well, at the current Thargoid invasion rates, it remains to be seen for how long it will remain Live)
Yes, if it bothers you just log into Legacy and sell it.
There was chatter before the split about deciding whether to decommission a carrier prior to the split and then rebuying in the appropriate version. Some will have, most will not have taken any action, but like myself could log into legacy and decommission them now. Half full of Tritium as well which would go to waste. I did park in a system out of the way at least.

It will not affect the live game.
You will decommission in Legacy now, but your Legacy carrier will still clutter the galaxy in the Live version
Fdev should update the legacy carriers in live on every thargsday tick that way we can move it on a weekly basis and the ones decommissioned are actually gone from live
My console carriers are still on live for now, I think they run out of funds either last Thursday or this Thursday so the process of decommissioning them will take during Xmas, They're both some distance out in the black so won't affect the Bubble.
On the legacy server I've provided all the carriers with half a decade of upkeep so I have somewhere to retreat to if the war goes pear shaped.
Might have to do something similar with my Alts carriers on Live, the war effort is taking most of my time though setting that up isn't urgent yet.

There is no war on legacy.

I have a legacy carrier sitting on 16kt of Tritium that I can sell you. I haven't started Legacy since the split though and don't remember where my carrier is. I think I parked it somewhere just outside the bubble. I would have to check.

I have fired up Legacy and jumped my carrier to an more or less empty system in the bubble. It is now in Epsilon-2 Arae. I have refuled and I am keeping a Cutter full of Tritium for myself, so I have 16597 t for sale. If anyone is interested, I also have some odd bits and bobs stored, but it's all single figures, no larger quantities - some guardian and thargoid stuff, a dozen escape pods and around 70 t of minerals.
Give me a shout and I will set up a sell order. I have no use for credits in Legacy, so I will be giving it all away for cheap.
