I agree. I thoroughly enjoy landing somewhere out on the surface of a planet. No time constraints, all the space for yourself... Really fun.
Stations? Not so much. Too much going on, and those time constraints with a low level death threat on top... That makes me nervous up into the tips of my hair... Not really my idea of fun, to be honest.
But I will give this parking challenge a try, if I remember. I hope they have different scenarios in there...

I honestly don't remember if the Sidewinder came with an ADC or any DC at all... Didn't really pay attention to these kind of details... Just hopped into the ship and did stuff, earning money, buying the next ship in line and so on. Back then, I would often sell the previous ship to buy a new one... Until I got the Cobra. That was the first ship I felt like it suited me. It was the one that got me the ticket to the Trophy Camp and brought me there. And it got me to the Long Sight Base, as well.

Indeed, grats on getting the funds to buy your own mobile home! They're actually quite easy to get to grips with and you'll probably find you'll wonder how you ever coped without one :D

Sure. Though this could also be done in the basic scenario that covers start, SC, navigation, jump, SC approach to station and landing.

Variation doesn't necessarily impede repetability. All it needs would be some "advanced settings" to be able to switch to a different type of station or add different levels of traffic and so on... Which would perfectly fit the "challenge" idea.

My alt account has successfully won a war to reclaim a system for our player faction that was lost over the Christmas holiday period when I had no time to play.
That frees up my time for more exploration with Quain 👍

Aye, tritium is something I'll have to get the hang of, but right now I'm still quite a way away from where I can actually buy one of those fleet carrier thingies, as I'm still on my way there via a roundabout route to collect yet more plants and accrue yet more billions. I'm still in the Outer Orion Spur as I write, but have a route plotted to the asteroid base in the Pencil Sector, followed by the bubble.

When I eventually arrive at Bubble, it's quite possible I'll be distracted by the on-foot CZs for a while as well as I already have withdrawal symptoms. :p

As for Norma and her mysterious Expanse, that's a place I'd like to check out at some point as well, but not until after I have the FC...

Ah, so I'm not the only one who's about to acquire an FC then. I'd been getting the feeling that I'm the only commander in the game who doesn't have one. 😅

It's a grind, but i'm covering myself for update 15!
Just in case I need to get out of dodge for a while, with all my ships :sneaky:

Good luck with the FC endeavour - and yes, I think we are the last 2 in game that don't have one!
