Where's all my Palladium gone?

@Treya created a very useful utility to sort out this so-called-feature, which has helped me clear my market orders.

You can find it here.

Nice, but i'd really love for FD to solve this.
However, there is not a single Issue Tracker raised for this issue and people keep reporting the "wrong" bug for this matter and then they're obviously getting told the market buy/sell order is functioning as intended

True, FD should solve this. But, we'll add it to the many things the community bypassed or solved because FD drag their feet or don't see the problem. And if we use such utilities, then the system is not functioning as we intended.

Interesting. Logically it does make sense, though. You just have to remember to check if you previously had a sell order when you restock.
Why is that a bug? A sell order with zero stock doesn't make sense.
Umm, do you detect any inconsistency in these two statements? Because the sell order really is still there, whether you can see it or not (and that's the true problem as Northpin said, cf. Bartender behaviour - a green triangle would work very nicely thank you).

Woooooow, are you serious/sure?
(Any volunteers to raise one? I might end up having to do it myself, if I have any left - there's a limit, right?)

Perhaps a similar carrier issue;
When I'm looking to refuel I'll use galmap to look for cheap Tritium. Instead I see carriers with maxed buy orders for Trit in a 40 LY radius.
At the time I figured these were Cmdrs who wanted someone else to haul their Trit from station to them.
I now realise I jumped into the middle of other Cmdrs credit transfers, and had their credits transferred to myself...🤪
Bottom line being; I wouldn't recommend Tritium as a means of transferring credits...

Well no, you can't sell something you don't have so it makes perfect sense that you can't set a sell order if you don't have the item. The problem is that if you did have items to sell, but then transfer them to your ship (rather than sell), the sell order stays but is hidden. As far as I am aware you'll see it again when you restock, but you would need to check the FC market.

You can set a buy order on items you don't have. So logically there isn't an issue. FD just need to clear any sell orders if stock level reaches zero.
Btw this behavior is different for bartender. You can always see orders set on the whole list, but ....not filters there! :D

Yes, that was already pointed out. I'm not saying the system can't be improved (so many things can be :ROFLMAO: ), I was just pointing out that it isn't strictly a bug - it is simply a difference in behaviour. Nothing logically wrong with that behaviour.

only 6 confirmations, 5 more needed to get into the voting phase

I had previously thought only 10 were required. In fact, it just hit 10 but the icon looks much as it did when it was on 6ish...
