What other games are we all playing?

This is the last day of the Steam Demo. Free demo's from indie dev's are available for download.

Hidden gem! For the first time ever, an Indie game was coded by an AI and almost won a competition! The Hungry Fly obviously, 10:35 and beyond. Chat GPT is only liable for the story, the coding was done by Copilot plus a 4 years old.

Nothing to worry about, still! Declare it a Piece of Art and apply for Documenta 16, scheduled for 2027. They love such stuff there. If nothing helps, put a BDS sticker on the caterpillar | earthworm | tapeworm somewhere and let some prominent activist explain the meaning.

O7,

It was brilliant and nothing to be banned. Education even, as learning to better steer clear from art forums following an Emperor's New Clothes approach plus declaring all dissenters infidels ;)

But then, we had the Death of Art in the Mafia game already, 21 years ago (the remake is really worth it btw).

The game "Boundary" seems to be the EVA gameplay wanted by so many Elite players. Zero-G combat, around space structures.

Funny how other games make the parts of Elite that we wish had been there from the beginning.

Final fantasy xiii (on ps3). Finally got to the point where i feel like im looking stupid if i buy more games and not play the backlog so...

Also playing various street fighter games with my boy. Since turning 5 he's advanced in ability and can handle things like crash bandicoot and punching up his dad. Wow.. joined up here just after he was born during feeding shifts.

I'm working on my backlog, currently playing Titan Quest plus dlc's, bought it on sale for two tenners a while back and it's a nice arpg for spending some time when I'm not outside doing other stuff.
Still waiting for Starfield with great anticipation.

3 or so weeks ago I found my X4 1000hr save game from 2020, fired it up with the new dlc, and after re-learning the controls, having a blast (literally).
A race or two are gone, my stations and sectors still alive, and it seems it's always up to me to save my neighbouring sectors from Xenon.
Asgard feels like a cheat. 1 shot Xen K.
Before I got the Asgard blueprint, I had to fight a Xen I with a few fleets. I'd like to see how the asgard goes toe to toe.

Just picked up Zero Sievert. It's good fun. It's like a single player top down 2d Escape from tarkov. The basic game loop of go on a raid loot stuff and extract. then upgrade your base is exactly the same as Tarkov.

Right now I'm playing Dreadnought and X:Rebirth, along with Euro Truck Simulator 2 with American Truck Simulator.
If only Elite Dangerous had the in-game infrastructure management capabilities (including wrecking those Coriolises for (un)lawful sending us the rebuy tickets) like in X4: Foundations...

I had to ditch Elite for two reasons:
1. My laptop can't run the game since 4.0 (poor me, just like with X4:F);
2. My attempt of grinding Engineers and Guardians to help my squadron compatriots in AX just ended in burnout.
But I've thought that I've said that before? My damned memory... :(

Im still not completely over how xrebirth station interiors have more featured layouts than elites, even though they are the same in principle. And x is made by an indie dev.

If your laptop can't run X4 Foundations, you might want to give the current beta a try, as Egosoft has improved performance dramatically. Of course you'll still need a good CPU to run the simulation side, but graphically it plays way smoother (and looks better) on my laptop.

@ShiMan 5 minutes later...
