I'm not one to wish anything but the best for people but a portion of SC evangelists have shown over time extreme distaste in frequenting this board on the regular, dogpiling into any 'Frontier bad' or "Elite is Dead' thread, and seeing "Elite is xxx bad thing, you should play Star Citizen instead' comments left all over Elite videos etc., along with all the fake and disproven 'facts' spewed about Elite, especially in regards to Odyssey - which clearly brought the SC faithful to ecstactic states thinking that the window had opened to put Elite to bed once and for all.Glad to see you are finally seeing the long awaited SC demise on the horizon
I cross my fingers that CIG and Turbulent will be unable to solve the problems of PES on the PU. It would bring so much joy to this forum.
Honestly LittleAnt, I think that if this were the end, I would have zero sympathy. Part of me would think it sucked - I was one who watched the sandworm video and was wowed, not to the point of backing it, but definitely kept it one to consider. Now, after that I come to learn that none of it was really the game and the more I have learned about SC & CIG the worse it gets.
I'm not speaking about all SC players, the rest I just feel sorry for, honestly. It's pretty clear that CIG are shady at the top - and that's never going to be fixed btw - and while I will say that Frontier have had their moments, nothing compares to the complete and utter mess that is CIG that I have ever witnessed before in my 40+ years of gaming, and the more astounding thing is that a huge cadre of players are 'string me along harder, daddy' to Chris Roberts.
BTW; I notice the little wink there, a touch of sarcasm aimed back at us in the matter of demise, eh?
As for Pyro...I reckon it'll be shoved out on different (separate) servers but included early next year before any such thing as static server meshing T0 is introduced. There'll be a main menu choice, logging in to Stanton or Pyro but certainly no in game transitional 'time tunnel' space vortex jump points involved between Stanton and Pyro. Call it a hunch
But... but... CIG showcased travelling between systems via wormhole in 2016!!!!
What i find funny is the ED is bad, so SC must be good mentality.
There is zero room for the possibility that both things can be bad.
The two are incomparable in regards to their own sets of issues - in degree, source and potential to get "fixed".
SC fans on Twitch say that there is already a solution for the bug of not being able to get up from the ship;
- press Y, then R, then turn off the room light, open the fridge 3 times, press E, buy a ship on the RSI website, sing acapella the Polish anthem, press S and, with some luck, you should be able to get up from the seat....
People have no patience... consider it's a development version that CIG kindly gift us for just buying a ship or two.
Let's go, come on, everyone to play a game to the marvelous Star Marine...

That they're not interested in Star Citisn't from a proven clown isn't hard to understand.
