Word.

Not sure if this is a faithful backer or someone having making a joke. Its practically impossible sometimes to tell the difference.

Everything works great for me dont know why you are all complaining I can play just fine.

A lot of players from my org are very upset that they cannot play. Most of them are lacking patience. I tried logging in for a week with no success. One day it finally worked. Then I had the 20391 entity loading screen. From my experience, this is no infinite loading screen. It can take up to 30 minutes but I was never truly "stuck".

Was looking for the inevitable post defending CIG from ChatJ3PT, but i guess even he isn't willing to touch that thread.

Ok, different topic, and this is weird... discussion about medical beds and how Tier 1 beds can (or the plan is) "print" a new body at any distance but Tier 2 bodies only within 20km.

Why would it matter how far away a corpse is? Either you need the physical DNA or whatever sample, or you don't, either way, you're either right next to the remains or the remains don't matter. Its all rather strange. Then they start going on about how capital ships won't have enough beds to ressurrect the whole crew in one go, and if you think about it, if the whole crew is dead (They're all dead Dave!) i very much doubt the ship is going to be in existence for much longer... and anyway, if everyone is dead, who's going to revive the crew anyway? Holly???

This is all coming from a discussion about the tractor beam, which is the hot topic at the moment. Now, for maximum fidelity, i think they should have them work based on Newton's law. So, you know, your commando uses their handheld tractor beam to lift a heavy box, but every force has an equal and opposite reaction, so the commando immeidately suffers a hernia and has to make their way to space hospital for treatment. They then have the pleasure of undergoing surgery and being laid up in hospital for a few days. This is surely the dream of your typical faithful SC backer!

A discussion about SC being a box stacking sim also leads people to start dunking on the survival mechanics....

If CIG gives a method to TURN OFF the stupid survival 'you die if you didn't drink for 2 hours' , then I will stack as many boxes as they want!

Good lord I hate the food and drink survival game nonsense. It just sits there and ticks away at you and does nothing for immersion. Then they'll be adding sanitation eventually for yet another tedious meter to watch. Bleh.

Faithful to the rescue!

There will be, but you'll need to pay for it and it won't be instant.

Like it or not manual box loading is a critical aspect of logistics, hauling, piracy, and trading gameplay.

Like it or not, you're going to stack boxes!

Something something immurshun.

It is a case for necromancy. Star Citisn't is pretty much a corpse anyway. Let the Danse Macabre begin. Though I prefer the word "Totentanz" - it has a much more grim sound to me.

That's probably realism at work. We all know you can't print higher tier bodies as far as lower tier ones, its practically common knowledge just like dying of dehydration in 2 hours.
Are you going to buy Starfield?
The latest trailer I saw did got me interested in it a bit. If I've learned anything though, its not to buy a game until I've seen how it plays.
When Starfirld comes out I'll probably be too old or my eyes too bad to play games anymore.

Todd Howard has said that Starfield will be "Skyrim in space". So maybe if you watch a few YouTube videos of Skyrim you'll get an idea of what to expect gameplay wise. The release date for Starfield is 6th September this year, so maybe we both might get to play it before time does us in. (couldn't find a grim reaper emoji)

and just to stay on topic...
Don't buy an Idris.
