Walkthrough Exhibits: What's Next?

So, I've been thinking, and maybe it's just a 1-time deal, but nonetheless I should throw it out:

Do y'all think that any future WE animals will get the butterfly treatment and come with multiples species? Like, take large parrots, aka macaws and cockatoos. Will they get a 5-in-1 type deal?

I don't think it's off the table, but I think it's a good point to bring up, if we haven't already

I really think we’ll see more. Definitely lorikeets fit this bill; you could have five species using the EXACT same rig with just different coloured feathers and sell them as five different species. I think, in fact, this would be a great move on Frontier’s behalf. We could get Rainbow, Black Capped and Dusky Lorikeets (all three with VERY different, distinct colourings) using the exact same model just with different feather colours.

Thought I’d bring this back into the spotlight
When it comes to what else can be done with WE, it seems likely the next realistic animal that can be added would be birds. Now I’d really like a set of 5 type like they did with the butterfly’s.
I also thought the WE can serve as a building for a koi pond.
anyone else got any bright ideas and realistic ideas?

Ponds would be interesting, but please no to water fowl as WE animals. But yeah ponds and touch pools would a nice and original idea for the WE. My only problem with it is the straight path that goes through it. It doesn't allow for much flexibility.

I still think birds are possible as WE animals. I really like the idea of hummingbirds or songbirds but it can totally work for WT tropical aviaries for species like toucans, parrots, doves/pigeons and even paradise birds. It could also work for owls. I won't be so comfortable with vultures, condors or eagles as WE animals though.

Tamarins, marmosets, flying squirrels, normal squirrels, galagos... all the tiny fast climbers. WE could handle them much better than the normal climbing system.

While It'd be cool, I don't want koi as WE species because then we couldn't have ducks go swimming in the pond.
Unless Frontier updates them where habitat animals can better interact with WEs

Yes sir

Yes sir
I mean there could be an option for pretty much everything to be null. Then you could just place the koi as sort of an special effect in your pond

You say that, but the next WE animal is going to be another bat species, literally anything else but a bird lol. Frontiers bird bias is getting crazy.

One is still better than none.
If we get something like rainbow lorikeets, well then I got a nice bird for my Australian area, my tropical domes, kids' corner, or random filler aviary. Without it, I can't do any of that. I don't see how that is better.
Depends on the bird really. A single lorikeet would be really cool. But a single macaw, or a single duck, species which are usually kept with several other similar species, would only serve to highlight the missing species.

"Check out the mallard pond. Normally it would've 20 other duck species, but we only have mallards. For reasons."

Disagree imo. They’ll be so lifeles sun their loops
They'll also be lifeless if they are stuck to the ground as habitat animals and can't perform the complex tiny frantic acrobatics they do in real life.

I'd rather get realistic but limited tamarins over a small reskin of the capuchin.

Think how bad it is to look at the ingame orangutan because it is a reskinned gorilla that can't climb for s-it.

orangutans being a gorilla reskin is a different problem from tamarins being traped inside box.

Either way, the only arborial animal in WE is the sloths, being there because of the extremelly slow speed and life style, tamarins could be easily habitat animal and don't face the same limitations as capuchins or sloths.

I think the problem with tamarins being habitat animals is rather that they are to small to work as such. Imo they should leave the real small monkeys out, focus on howlers and stuff and leave the we to birds

They have almost the same size as prairie dogs. If prairie dogs fit as habitat, so can tamarins.
I also would love them as habitat animals but the problem isn't just their size but their frentic behaviour and their constant jumping. I don't see how that can work with the current climbing mechanics.
