In before JP arrives to explain everything
What will the narrative be today? That development only really started 2 years ago?
/edit Oh, he is already here.
Must be something like a reverse-devtracker. Every time someone dares to question things a notification is sent.
I tell you, if the AI in the game is half as good as the JT chatbot, we are truely getting a AAAA game!
Or maybe people could just read the updates for themselves for once before making long posts on the subject.
Actually read monthly reports consistently then you'd see them.
It is interesting how you selectively quoted and highlighted things while ignoring the caveats contained within. Literally in the second sentence of the below literally explains that Q4 2023 is their hope, not a deadline or promise. Even in the Chairman's letter in previous years it was heavily caveated on success of the PES rollout.
- Resource management has been in progress all year and more recently this year the freelancer was updated to accommodate it.
- Bounty Hunting V2 has had multiple updates across monthly reports and even in ISC showing the BH office and many of the assets with the cryo pod for capturing bounties
- They literally showed off freight elevators for persistent hangars in a newsletter sneak peak. For the Hull C to be added they also need to add the next step of the cargo refactor too and rebalance the economy.
- There have been multiple updates on the StarMap, visor, MFDs, Radar, Interaction system, etc in monthly reports. So your statement on these is false.
- Pyro has continued to be fleshed out with work mentioned across some of the monthly reports.
Then on the SQ42 items, they talked about those coming towards the end of the year, so yes we won't have seen them yet. Does that mean there are no updates, no.
So before making these long posts it would benefit you to actually read the available information rather than stating nothing has been shared.
There are exactly zero demonstrable facts, in those reports.
What basis do you have to say that what they share there is not accurate? None. If your stance is to ignore information provided in principle then then you will never accurately represent things.
There is plenty of evidence that it is exactly what they are working on:
So in fact there is plenty of evidence that the information shared in the monthly reports are accurate representations of highlights of the work they did in that month.
- Multiple things shown off at Citizencon, had been in monthly reports in advance of that.
- Multiple things in ISC are often talked about in monthly reports months in advance.
- The AI work was talked about in monthly reports and then shown in ISC and SCL, then was partly implemented into 3.18
- Things like the new insurance tool, were talked about in the monthly reports in April before being implemented.
- Multiple other implemented features and mechanics that people were surprised about, were talked about in monthly reports in advance of that.
Just because they are not always showing pictures, videos or implementing something into the PU does not mean that work is not happening. In fact, there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever to say that what is in the monthly reports is not true.

So am I right that the above is saying that there will be 'seamless server switching' only during Quantum Travel? But isn't Quantum Travel pretty much a loading screen of sorts already?
And that's why I melted my corsair. I like its style but between the sluggish flight model, the hangar clearance, the ground clearance, the thrusters issue and of course the ramp collision, I just finished hating it.
Sorry for you mate. I know how frustrating it is
Everything is a VW, BMW or Fiat these days, if you dig deep enough.... even some American cars are actually German, like bits of their MBT, but don't tell them that.My 21 year old Disco 2 started out like this when I bought it...I just added a few useful X-country bits here and there. The first pic was taken on the mainland just after I had the front winch fitted.
The Disco 2 is basically a defender chassis and running gear with the posh shiny outsides to stop the water coming in when it rains...still a proper Land Rover though, unlike the modern BMW based Chelsea tractor rubbish

How long did you wait for the server to catch up or were you just being sarcastic?was successful
I was thinking of trading back to my MSR too since I have similar feelings about the freshly Ci~GI melted mine too, its a nice ship, interesting design and all that, i like a lot of things about it.
But here is the problem with it, it has a huge amount of firepower available to the pilot, and because of the way that CIG think that makes it a problem, because it has so much firepower CIG think that must be balanced in the way that it handles, always give with one hand and take with the other, so to balance its massive firepower it handles worse than the Caterpillar, its so bad its almost unflyable, there is no joy in flying it so that firepower is rendered useless unless you are literally fighting close quarters with a hammerhead or larger, and if you're doing that you get about 3 seconds worth fight out of it because its also made of paper and goes pop pretty much immediately.
Its a paper cannon on a sailing boat, that aspect of it is useless. its other attributes are also very compromised as explained.
I melted mine and went back to the MSR, it has two piddly little size 3's, and yet the other day on responding to a rescue beacon i was greeted by two Sabres, two Eclipses and an M50, i took the M50 out with missiles from distance, always do that to them they are a pain in the , the other 4 ships were all over me like a rash, it took me quite a while to take them all out, they pounded me for quite awhile but the MSR's hull took the beating for long enough for me to take them all out, even in atmosphere it was still maneuverable enough to get a target on them.
I have nothing but respect for the people who design and build these ships, the artistry, the attention to detail... the 'skill' is off the charts, they are fabulous things and the Corsair is a fine example of that, ruined by some other CIG .
That new ship smell...
I was thinking of trading back to my MSR too since I have similar feelings about the freshly Ci~Gnerfedbalanced Corsair...interesting, but fairly useless. Hell, the way things are going with me and star citizen, I'd probably trade it in for a 400i![]()

A bit like a new concept ship!just flew out between the wreckage.
