Now that we know the Bactrian Camel got some attention in the update, I hope they added Grassland and Taiga tags to them too. We should be able to use Grassland and Coniferous Plants with them. From the Mountains of Bactria (which are full of Conifers) to China they are found everywhere. Especially the Steppe Belt, which makes them the Steppe (Grassland) Camel over Dromedary. If there was a Primary Biome System in the game theirs would be Grassland.
The only way we have Is wait until the patch notes tomorrow
Imagine we get a surprise Malayan tapir remaster. I doubt it, though
I think bactrian camel remaster is more fit this pack

Perhaps from now on I Wish for a third Tapir. That might be our only chance to get an Update

But we already got size adjustment for the Bactrian Camel. After all this time it is the only thing I really would like Frontier to do. Everything else would be nice but I really doubt it.

Variations sound nice, especially for the Camels. Was as previously mentioned hoping though for a Albino or leucistic Wild Ass that we could use as Fake Asinara Donkeys until we get a proper Petting Zoo Donkey, even though I normally don't like to pretend one Animal to be another one
Everything else will likely not happen except Frontier will sell a more expensive update to us which improves base game and early DLC animals up to their possibilities now. In my opinion this Option would be better than a PZ sequel. At least for the people playing the Game from the beginning. Frontier would open a neverending box of requests If only improving a few animals.
Edit: I also like all animals after watching some Videos. I think the Sand Cat looks more or less like a Sand Cat. Some might see it different but for me the model is just okay.

This idea is great. I don’t mind pay a more expensive update for old models. But no pz 2 pls. I don’t want pay one more time and wait for 5-7 years to collect all planet zoo animals again.

Yep, the only thing speaking against my Idea is that Frontier likely would make more Profit with a sequel as new Players could be deterred by the amount of actual DLC. But for Players from the start it would be a good solution and I also would Accept a price around 30-40 Euro for that Update.
It is worth to pay if frontier update old models to recent dlc standards and give us new variants
It may just be a situation similar to the babirusa, where the decoration was added later.
Hopefully! As the #TeamMoreExhibitAnimals person, I would be sad if we never get Decorations for the Snake.
Oh wow, looks like the Dromedary has 8 different colour variants and a piebald. Alot of love was put into them, they look really great.
