There might be an overlap here...
I'd call that a chain...
Yes, the "reverski" maneuver can be quite effective against NPC pilots in many cases. It's quite useful when you're in a large, slow ship, and you're fighting something nimble. But it works with most ships.I discovered something very fascinating, I finally got interdicted by one of those pesky Vultures and kept my ship in reverse thrust the whole time just to see what would happen. My ship handled surprisingly well and kept the Vulture in front of me 90% of the time, in fact, it didn't know how to act. The whole thing was quite comical.
Doh...., do I feel like a n00b. Ah well, at least I'm still moving forward (or backward).Yes, the "reverski" maneuver can be quite effective against NPC pilots in many cases. It's quite useful when you're in a large, slow ship, and you're fighting something nimble. But it works with most ships.
You're still learning. Which means, you're moving ahead. In any which direction.Doh...., do I feel like a n00b. Ah well, at least I'm still moving forward (or backward).![]()

I agree. That demotion down to n00b was a little harsh.Today I highlighted the factions I been so mean to in the mission board, and did reputation missions for em. Now, I'm (veritably) a role model for their children. But, I'll be back.
I cut the parts off the wrecks, picked up the things, snuck a few things in and out, killed people, picked up black boxes, snuffed a pirate trying to get my sensitive courier data. Just normal pilot federation stuff business. Great variety and zero notoriety!
Nahhh you just arrived at it by battle instead of reading about it.
I salute your learning style and promote you back from n00b to wise man. In fact while I'm in the file, here, now you are experience level 03wisemen.
Sometimes, the NPC CMDR just cannae hannle it cap'nHad yet another quirky thing happen, I've been transporting data (the kind with the skull and cross bones), I'm on auto-dock about 1.5 clicks from one of those tiny orbital platforms and a Python comes out of high-wake about 500 meters in front of me. He banks to avoid hitting me and slams into the orbital platform, never a dull moment in this game.![]()
Often found in dubious supermarkets...
Gosh. Took me a lot longer to get over 20bn! Nice going! Finally made over 20 billion credits, now if I can just get a surface scan of Sag A I'll get my free Corvette.

Another example is my iEagle which I built for going very fast. I set the ship to autodock at a platform and the silly ADC decides to boost to start the approach. The thing is, it does 932 (iirc) and couldn't slow down enough for a proper landing.

Yeah. I had to look up my net worth on Inara. Shocking.Still not quite 15b in the bank, but quite a bit more invested in ships/carrier… :]

EDIT - oops - it's in the Codex too. Forgot about that!![]()
I think the misc value is the credits you have in the Carriers operating fund.Just updated stats on INARA for the first time in quite a while - was nice to see I’m in the top 1000 at no.805 now :]
Wondering what the “Misc” total in the assets section is about - a bit mysterious, as with how the Codex calculates the assets total?
Not that it’s much of a concern in-game, but it’s just interesting taking stock from time to time I guess…
Actually I was impressed that you figured it out yourself. Good going!Doh...., do I feel like a n00b. Ah well, at least I'm still moving forward (or backward).![]()
