In the regular Revenant Missions, I for the heck of it cannot find the PWR building quick enough in the dark..
Try HIP 8825. There are bugged thargoids around the stations but just ignore them and dock and disembark. On foot Terminals in the affected systems or around them ? I have not Seen a single such mission anywhere![]()
The regular type with scavs?Maybe a little off topic, but does anybody know if and how you can still get AX Restoration missions for post thargoid recovery systems ?
I head for the CMD centre (big Comms dish) to get the layout ( There's only 5 or 6 types) and figure how the revs are patrolling. In the regular Revenant Missions, I for the heck of it cannot find the PWR building quick enough in the dark..
If the PWR centre isn't explicitly "separate" and observable on its own (usually with the "PWR" wording on the side of the building) then you're usually going to find it to the rear of the CMD building. In the regular Revenant Missions, I for the heck of it cannot find the PWR building quick enough in the dark..
EDSM has an overhead screenshot for each settlement in a system. It isn't a full fledged guide, but if you're familiar with settlements, the screenshot is enough to let you know what you're going to find when you get there. If the PWR centre isn't explicitly "separate" and observable on its own (usually with the "PWR" wording on the side of the building) then you're usually going to find it to the rear of the CMD building.
You know, if there's one thing this game doesn't have then it's some form of third party guide to the layout of all settlement designs (which are finite, although also are numerate). I'm actually surprised it hasn't been done yetMight do this in a video but it's just so difficult to systematically find examples of all 27+ types. That said, AX missions send you to military types only so there are actually only around 7 types total so my advice above is generally useful for this.
Yeh I remember this project and it's come along a lot since I last saw it. This would be enough for AX missions and this guy's requirements. I did mean more of an actual map for settlements (as in the internal layouts, security requirements and so on) and I recall one guy started this project and it was insanely detailed. I just don't think they finished their work (and this wouldn't surprise me as I think they were going for too much detail).FWIW, I consult: https://www.quizengine.co.uk/omg/live/omg_1.1.html
You mean we can get to them without dodging Glaives?HIP 20056, in recovery state, has both types of AX restoration missions - to restore non-military settlements in the same system, but also to restore military settlements in HIP 21261.
Both Outposts in HIP 20056 are still under attack. Lot of AX choices!
Yes, but only for this part of missions in the same system, these missions are without revenants, but they have some pirates. I don't care about Glaives 'cause I use ICourier 840 m/s for AX restoration missions! You mean we can get to them without dodging Glaives?![]()
It's always fun to see a restoration mission offering 3 power regulators as reward, but "you will need to supply your own power regulator for this mission."Just remember, some of these require that you source your own PR.

Speaking of bugs, has anyone else run into these two bugs:This is a pretty cool place to get AX missions from (assuming the repair system missions aren't bugged ofc). The repair missions don't pay nearly as well in credits but mostly still pay in 4-5 materials per, so very easy ways to get these compared to the normal AX missions (again, if not bugged). Annoys me that the limit is 5 tbh. AX missions should pay way more than 5 per, I think.

For this one, yes - one cause is when you hand in one of these missions, it "unflags" all copies of the mission-related item that you had to collect. So if you have any other missions that had the same type of item, they become incompletable as you "lose" their mission-related item.Speaking of bugs, has anyone else run into these two bugs:
- Unable to turn in completed missions. I had 7 missions fully completed and ready for turn in. I turned in 5 and then it took me back to the main menu. The missions button still had the blue checkmark to indicate completed missions, but when I clicked on missions it just gave me a list of new missions and no ability to turn anything in. I relogged, restarted, and even left the system and came back. I was never able to turn in those missions. I had to abandon them and take the penalty.
Re point two, ive found that if i collect items from the base before powering up that can break things, such that the game doesnt recognise you powering up the settlement.Speaking of bugs, has anyone else run into these two bugs:
Also, on the subject of bugs: if you weren't aware, they still haven't fixed the bug where killing ground targets that are NOT part of CZ awards Combat rank and not Mercenary rank. This includes killing Revenants in AX Restore missions. My Combat rank is rapidly approaching Elite II thanks to these missions. I reported this issue a year ago in the issue tracker. I've given up on that system. Fixing this bug is on them now and I'll enjoy the easier grind to Combat V until they decide to fix it.

- AX mission that refuses to progress after to you power on the settlement. I powered on the Leckey settlement for a mission, and then the progress disappeared. I shutdown the power, tried power it up again - no effect. Shut it down, returned to SRV, logged out and back in. Then I wasn't even getting the prompt to power on the settlement. I tried different instances, no dice. I even recalled my ship, left, came back, and still no prompt. I then drove away in SRV (1.8 km) for another pickup, decided to relog instead, drove back, and finally got the power-on prompt. After powering on the settlement, it then proceeded to give me the next step.
I'm assuming problem #2 may have been due to some hiccup with the mission server. I don't know. I've never seen an issue persist through so many changes, and then suddenly work.
This will happen if you take the item that is required for the second part of the mission (and so yes, you should never take anything before sorting the power out first). FD should probably change the way the second objective is created. I've still seen the mission fail to trigger outside of this scenario, rarely. Only way to work around it was to relog (so I took everything first, relogged and then redid the mission).Re point two, ive found that if i collect items from the base before powering up that can break things, such that the game doesnt recognise you powering up the settlement.
Always wait till the base has been fully powered up before stealing anything. By sticking to this rule ive not had any instances, touch wood of them failing.

Hmm. So if you were to take another mission of that type, and complete, would it remove that unflag? Would the new one be screwed up as well? Or would the new one still be available for turn in, but not them. For this one, yes - one cause is when you hand in one of these missions, it "unflags" all copies of the mission-related item that you had to collect.
