I once got given my presentation by a chap claiming it as his work. He was new and I had returned. So I let him get to the really complex part before asking any questions. He got very pink and uncomfortable.

You may not recall, but a long time ago CIG talked about making Spectrum an in-game thing as well as external forum and heavily implied a forum ban would result in a game ban, because they would be one and the same thing.

So behave in game or lose access to the forum. Behave on the forum or lose access to the game.

That's why the threat is there. You diss CIG, they can take away your ability to play the game.

Now, i'm fairly sure, this has never ever been done before.

More anecdotal tales of anti-hype...

Am I the only one noticing a huge up tick in account sales and people selling off credit at crazy rates. I’m a member of star citizen trades and I’ve never seen so much credit being sold as such low rates.
