What exactly are you selling? Hard to get stuff, or all kinds?
It's data, all sorts. I had quite a lot in storage, over and above what I'd require. Goods and assets too but they don't go for nearly as much.

I'm not in the game now to check how much I've made, but by about 10 minutes of me putting stuff on the barkeeper, I was up by about 100m.

I think it'll get more competitive as time goes by but I just whacked everything up at the max 10,000% just see what would happen.

I'll check again tomorrow.

I had been looking at the Wiki to see what it would take to get some engineering upgrades for my Artemis suit.
If the numbers are correct, that's quite an expensive sport... (Given I had the materials for it.)

I guess it would come cheaper to buy a pre-engineered one. I take it though that this might take some time, also, if one wants a certain combo.

Keep an eye on the "sharing is caring" thread. Personal suits and weapons are not that dear credit-wise; it's more expensive in time invested in gathering mats for upgrades.

I had seen the prices for G1 equipment in game and was okay with that. The Artemis suit I bought before I set out to Synuefe TP-F b44-0 happened to be a G2, albeit without any engineering upgrades. Now, looking at what the Wiki had to say about what it would cost to get NV and EJA for my suit, I was slightly shocked - in this moment completely ignoring that I would have to unlock the engineer for this, first.
You know, it isn't long ago that I made my first million (okay, I skipped a few steps and went right to 100mCr in one fell swoop...😅) - at least in the time outside of the museum. But being able to earn several million credits with just scanning a few plants on a single planet close to my home station (for the time being) is still a new concept for me. Thus reading about having to pay 1mCr for an engineering upgrade hit me a little different than it might have hit you. 🤔 :)

I definitely will check that thread before logging in - if I remember to, that is.

No engineering is the best starter suit, unless you find something with a mod you really want - nothing worse than a slot you need for something useful blocked by something that isn’t later on as you upgrade… :]

And remember to check that thread indeed - there are some nice G3 suits about, especially in systems towards the fringes of the bubble - though they will cost around 20m & sell quite quickly!

Ultimately that G2 with no mods will be better than a G3 with a mod you don’t want ;]

If NV is high priority it is worth looking for a prebuilt admittedly - Oden Geiger is indeed a 3rd tier engineer… i lucked upon one early on, well before i managed to unlock him - they are out there :)

No doubt about that. I wouldn't want to spend money on a mod I don't want or need.
Think of it this way -- it will provide months of interesting gameplay. At least that's what it did for me.

It IS a long slog, though, no question.
I'll keep that in mind. But at the moment, there's other, more interesting stuff for me to do...

It is, indeed. 3rd tier, you say? Yikes. And probably some engineers on the way that require me to do things I don't feel ready to do, yet...

I will try to make a mental note to regularly check that thread before logging into the game...

From what I remember of that thread it might be best to check it after you have logged in to the game some of the best stuff reported on it is gone within minutes and the time taken to launch the game could mean you miss out.

I wish I could... But with only one machine to do it all, this can be sketchy.

Had been looking around in some neighboring systems and had some odd occurencies...
First, when auto-leaving a Coriolis station, the ship seemingly didn't want to fly past the toast rack, hovering back and forth. And when I used throttle override to get out of there, it sounded like I would be tangling with the rack- warning included...
Then, on an outpost, the ship would take off half way and then hover there, no response on any throttle input at first.
Lastly, on a terrestrial starport, the ship would take off, rise a few hundred meters and then slowly float back down.
I suspect this might have been some lag.

I did some engineering. Not too bad. Getting a feel for it again. The Inara.cz crafting list sure is helpful. Kicking it near Sirius trying to get in to talk to their engineer there, well, I guess I now know I was routed by a bug. The system permits aren't giving out right now.

But all week I kept convincing myself I hadn't tried something, something in my slightly sordid reputation. In the process, I really showed some good behavior --- I'm now a moral poster child for the superpowers. Unfriendly with two, hostile with noone, no fines, no bounties. They love me. The Federation bounty was the hardest to get rid of. 2T of Twinkies to their bureaucrats did the trick

Still, I start going base to base of Sirius Corporation, mostly selling drugs stolen from the fine enemies of my supposed new great allies the Sirius Corporation. And synthetic pathogens. I dunno what they gonna do with all those canisters of synthetic pathogens. Well it ain't my problem, I'll put my helmet in Always On mode instead of Emergencies Only, if they try to pop the lid off.

The other annoying thing is those that - for whatever reason - don't post they've taken the stuff. Perhaps they just don't read the boards or perhaps they just don't care. Perhaps they just happened across it. Still... it is frustrating to get somewhere for that juicy piece of kit only to find it gone,

Yeah. Or you live in a neck of the woods where rarely someone posts about...
I would post about the stuff in my region, if it wouldn't be so awkward to do - find a scrap of paper and a pen, write it down, end the game, start the browser... You get the drift.
