What time does the update come out in relation to the stream, as I am in AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time), so sometime like 11am BST, which for me would be 8pm AEST. Just curious

People here are still demanding Microceratus (that appeared in both the original novel version of Jurassic Park and the film Jurassic World: Dominion).

Hadrosaurus appeared in the original novel version of Jurassic Park and it is not included.

More species help more than decorations. You do not open a park for people to just look at decorations, they pay to come to the park to see living breathing dinosaurs.

You should know which species are Jurassic Park exclusive and which ones are Jurassic World exclusives. To explain it in simpler terms, some species that are used in making Jurassic Park are the ones not to be included in making Jurassic World.

And people have wanted Concavenator for longer, and it was made abundantly clear that this was a decorative pack. Takes a long time to make a new species and it gets harder due to the sheer number of them limiting the possible animations and behaviors that can set them apart.

A better analogy is that you don't have a park at all, not even a zoo, without amenities and guest facilities. You make the mistake that just because the animals are the stars that nothing else matters, and then you wonder why the game feels barebones. Decorations and the guests are the vehicles that allow you to make stunning parks that are highlighted by the species therein. The other problem is that if we operate by these standards then we will never get anything but new species as there is always another somewhere on the list that someone wants and will argue for its inclusion.

Why you can't accept other people want more from the game then an endless list of species is beyond me. Half of the best mods are decorative and making the game more functionally interesting just ask Kaiodenic on that one. Decorations have also been extremely limited by building sets, so having more options is always a plus and let's you embellish and make more interesting parks maybe even centering on some of the decorations as core ideas.

I always anticipate that within three months, there would be new species. A good way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Jurassic Park film is to have missing species relevant to the film and original novel available.

In Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis and Jurassic World: Evolution 1, the park cannot be opened if there are no dinosaurs. Strangely in Jurassic World: Evolution 2, the park can be opened if there is a guest attraction.

In all three games and just as the park opens, next is to have the restroom along with the amenities where visitors can buy food & beverages and to rest. In Jurassic World: Evolution 1 & 2, a shop becomes a requirement. Hotels in Jurassic World: Evolution 1 & 2 replace rest areas and it plays a role in visitor capacity. Transport coverage primarily comes from the monorail in the Jurassic World era. Lately, the tour rides in all eras play an indirect role in the transport coverage.

In Jurassic World: Evolution 2, the appearances of amenities and guest attractions can be customized. All the food & beverage amenities must have tables & chairs in ground level. Seating with plants in the roof is for the herbivore exhibits whereas the seating with canopy is for the exhibits of carnivores, pterosaurs, and marine reptiles. As for shops and guest attractions, Jurassic Park Thatch is for the Jurassic Park era whereas the metallic triangles and Jurassic World banners are for the Jurassic World era.

Once the needs are met, next is attractions for people to see dinosaurs. It is a good thing that in Jurassic World: Evolution 2; the Viewing Gallery, Viewing Platform, and the Remote Viewing Galleries are available in all eras. The Park Tour in the Jurassic Park era cover the exhibits of Proceratosaurus, Coelophysis, Troodon, and all the herbivores. The Jurassic Tour in the Jurassic World era cover the exhibits of Coelophysis, Monolophosaurus, ornithomimids (except Deinocheirus), hadrosaurs (especially Muttaburrasaurus), and sauropods. The Gyrosphere in the Jurassic World era cover the exhibits of Troodon, Dilophosaurus, Australovenator, the dromaeosaurs, medium-sized carnivores, pterosaurs, and combat-capable herbivores. In all eras, the lagoon viewing gallery is the only means of seeing marine reptiles.

Rangers and shelters are the basic means of security in all three games. In Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, there are also automated systems. The ACU in Jurassic World: Evolution 1 and the capture teams in Jurassic World: Evolution 2 have roles to play in keeping the park safe.

Other than the guest attractions and amenities, other decorations are not of value.

To be honest, if they released content like this more frequently and even had a price tag applied to it, I'd be a very happy camper. Decorations and how the park is presented is really important. I'd argue that we have a very healthy roster of dinosaurs to choose from.

I think about it this way: If you go out for a $100 steak dinner where your steak is delicious, but the restaurant looks like crap, the appetizers are crap, the side is crap, then the overall experience is crap.

As far as my opinion goes, this latest content drop is a win - and it's free. I love what they've done with this one. I really hope they keep a focus on decorations, other attractions, transport options, the whole kit and caboodle going forward. These are the things that add that polish to your park to take it from "cool" to "outstanding"

All of that being said, more dinosaurs wouldn't upset me either.

Other attractions mean more alternatives for how certain dinosaur species can be viewed. When the Remote Viewing Galleries were added, I used those for the exhibits of large carnivores thinking those are safer than the Jurassic World era's Gyrosphere. There is no telling what else will be added.

Transport options are also vital. Cabot Finch in Jurassic World: Evolution 1, "I'm not a fan of long walks, and your guests agree with me."

Functions and the insides are more important than the looks itself.

Almost every new dinosaur added so far can only be used in the Jurassic World era.

I'm absolutely loving this update! Thank you Frontier for all your hard work!

P.S. If possible, can you maybe make broken fences a decoration in the future? If so, that'd be awesome!

So this wasn’t really an actual “Community Stream” like I thought it was, since those are just showcases of community-made in-game content. The real title of it was a sneak peak of the new major update and new PDLC, just as showcase streams for said content usually are.
