I was following the guy in the video using 'they', and I meant CIG because I assumed its what he meant by 'they'.

Lots of folks selling up recently it seems...or just giving up. I was tempted to shift some of my stuff on to SC trades, simply because I've lost all interest. Having an SC backer account has had very little point since the money spent over the last 5 years has contributed nothing toward the development of the PU...same with selling up for a loss. Sixes and two threes.
I haven't bought a ship in 3 years besides zero dollar CCU's or spending unused store credit, I haven't played in nearly 4 months and I can't see me ever regaining interest in doing so

Third option's still there. You could pursue a refund, being UK side and all. Success rate seems decent.
I'd hold out for comedy option four tho. Wait for a global class action suit

only one getting money out of a class action lawsuit would be the lawyers. cig has been spending all that money as it comes it. aint like they still have it.
