Gamerpoop? Those machinimas were simply the best.
Now I'm curious. I think "internet access" used to be in the requirements. I don't think Star Field is always online is it? I could see myself getting a new computer for gaming and not connect it to the internet.Finally got my new parts for the new PC boy boy this is fun, but a lot has changed since I build my now burned PC, and W11 is a pain to install man I need to jump so many hoops to stop MS from spying all the time LOL also I imagined I could just move my SSD but somehow the boot sector was corrupt so now I need to rebuild every thing again![]()
Win11 does not approve of this.Now I'm curious. I think "internet access" used to be in the requirements. I don't think Star Field is always online is it? I could see myself getting a new computer for gaming and not connect it to the internet.
I'm imaging the PC necessary for running all of that, my eyes are watering and Mrs PiLhEaD has already hidden my wallet.....What I think would be really cool would be modders using procedural generation to create:
Imagine: a planet entirely composed of procedural generated plants, animals and cities.
- Variations of plant life;
- Variations of animal life; and
- Cities.
....
I dont think that such level of content production is anywhere near possible via mods.What I think would be really cool would be modders using procedural generation to create:

- Variations of animal life; and
- Cities.
A big ask of course. But those modders, when they get an itch to scratch, are complete nut cases. Wish I'd have done a gaming degree!

You can install it without internet I did because I don't want them to have access from day one, however you need to go into the terminal and turn it off, then reboot and continue the installation, annoying but doable.Now I'm curious. Sounds like my specs lie exactly on the minimum.Here it is;
Min requirements
Recommended requirements;
Min requirements do not need a broadband connection, recommended does, I suspect this is for updates only, so you could play the game with no connection and just connect when there is an update available I am guessing.
don't know but I assume it will be as good as the XBOX ?Sounds like my specs lie exactly on the minimum.
So how good will it perform on ultra settings?
I doubt I can run it at ulzra setting.don't know but I assume it will be as good as the XBOX ?
I just tested my new PC 1080P 380/150FPS on ultra setting in Heaven that's a lot more then what I got with the 1080OC and the temp is steady 70 C didn't even do anything, that's out of the box so to sayI was a bit worried because I forgot to order thermal paste so had to use some old stuff I had upsidaisy...
